      I was on their site shopping for Christmas gifts, and I noticed if you spent $50, you would qualify for free shipping. So I added another item to qualify for free shipping and completed my order.Later, I found out that one of my items was out of stock, despite it not saying so at all during the checkout process. I also noticed I was 2 cents shy of the $50 required for free shipping, and they had charged me $13 in shipping costs. I reached out to their customer service, but all they offered was a $5 off coupon for a future order, which didn't even work when I tested it out.

      Buyer beware. I've ordered from Bits N Pieces in the past and it used to be a great company to work with but sadly no longer. It takes ten (10) business days to ship In Stock items, which depending on the date of order it can take in excess of three weeks to receive an item. Bits N Pieces used to have quality puzzles but in light of cancelling my order sans refund I never obtained anything in current stock. I had to contact BBB.org to have my order cancelled which has been completed however, they carefully neglected to mention any refund. And although I did receive a confirmation email that stated the order was cancelled again, no charges were listed - in fact the charges were noticeably missing. After reading some of the other reviews now I'm concerned I'll never get a refund but some in store credit which completely defeats the purpose and holds the consumers funds hostage. What constitutes theft. If a vendor holds a consumers funds without providing either services or goods at what point is it straight up theft, or should I apply for a law degree.

      I think this is a **** poor business. I have been trying to get a refund for 6 weeks. I still have not got my refund. In fact they never notified me that my order was going to be late and they never notified me the order had been cancelled. After 4-25-23 I looked it up on my computer and found my order had been cancelled. I called and they said a refund check had been sent out on 5-10-23. I called again on 5-22-23, they said the check had been lost in the mail. I found a message on my E-mail that said the check would take 4-6 weeks, but it took them 2 days to cash my check.

      Ordered many puzzles from Bits & Pieces. Great pieces, but terrible packaging. Never had 1 single damaged piece from this company. But multiple times I ordered 1 puzzle & it arrived in a flimsy plastic bag, w. no padding. With no box or no padding, the puzzle box arrived damaged w. hole in top or bottom & major dent. I never reported it, because the pieces were ok. So I started ordering 2 at a time, thinking they would use a box to ship 2 puzzles & only use the flimsy plastic bag for 1 puzzle. I thought wrong. Just received 2 puzzles today in the flimsy plastic bag. One has a hole on top & second hole in the bottom. The other has major dents. I don't want to go thru the hassle of sending them back or to receive more puzzles I don't have room for, the pieces are likely ok. But the boxes are unsightly. Every other puzzle company ships their puzzles in boxes. Even Amazon ships their puzzles in padded bags. Not sure why Bits & Pieces ships their puzzles, which are susceptible to puncture, in flimsy unpadded bags.

      I placed an order on March 8th with an estimated shipping date of 3/10-3/15, but each time I check the date it moves further and further back. It is currently saying between 3/29 and 4/03. After I contacted support, they simply reiterated the estimated shipping date (which at the time was 3/27 and 4/01) and did not help one bit...Yes, I see the date, but it is useless if it keeps changing. Tell me why it keeps getting delayed and if I will see it in any reasonable time. If you are ordering a gift or want what you paid for within any reasonable time, it might be best to look elsewhere. And the products I ordered do not seem to be marked out of stock and they are available for order. In the meantime, I will continue to tell my mother that her gift has not arrived.

      I ordered some puzzles January 24th. The website stated these items were in stock. After not hearing anything for days I checked their website which stated these puzzles would be shipped February 6-11. I was puzzled why it could take up to 18 days to ship an in stock item. I called the company but the woman I spoke with would not answer my questions. She just stated they will be shipped in a few days. I requested my order be cancelled but she said it could not be cancelled because it was being processed which did not make sense. I then sent an email to the company requesting cancellation but they said it could not be cancelled because it would ship in a few days. This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with and they do not even pretend to be consumer oriented.

      I ordered a puzzle sorter , now I am told the sorter is not available and my not be available in the future, The Company will not issue a refund. Stay away if you have trouble and expect a refund.

      Horrible customer service!! They offer 100% satisfaction guaranteed but when you are not happy with your purchase they will not help you to return it. It costs half the purchase price to return their worthless puzzle table and they are not willing to offer a label at a reduced cost.

      Bought a puzzle table and it came damaged. As in damaged from shoddy assembly at factory and damaged from transit. so I notified them and they told me that I had to pay for the return shipping myself. They would not refund my money if I wouldn’t do so which I only paid $5.99 to ship here and it would have cost a great deal more to ship back to them. We are talking weight of 43 lbs. They are holding $299.99 of my money until I do. The table was in shambles inside and this company came highly recommended. Never had any problems with them before now. I have pictures of damages inside and outside. The initial offer from them when called was pretty much a 300 credit for my next order. Why would I order more from them after this shoddy order and even worse customer service experience? Let alone who orders $300 in puzzles? I’m paying more to send it back to them. When they should be paying the shipping for return.

      This company has CONTINUALLY sent their SPAM to my email account--even after numerous attempts to ask them to stop! Can the BBB make them go away & leave us alone? We want to give NO stars but guess we can not.
