I hired the business and paid them $30,850 to remodel my home. In the original contract for $19,000 they were to put in 4 interior doors, 2 exterior with screen doors, remove 2 bathrooms fixtures, drywall and flooring and put in all new fixtures, drywall, flooring and paint. Remove kitchen cabinets and counter tops and replace with new cabinets and countertop. Remove carpet from 2 bedrooms and replace with hardwood. Install trim in bedrooms and bathrooms, build 8x20 deck on front of the house and build 6x4 deck on back of house. A second contact was made for $4,500 to install all new duct work and build new trunk, run all new ductwork to all vents in the home. Then I recieved a bill half way through for $7,350 for deck material (deck was included in initial contract), install new sub flooring and flooring in kitchen, new hood range, new electric outlet for dishwasher, trim in kitchen, removal of newly installed flooring(due to it coming up within a week) installing new subfloor and new flooring, reroute all water lines, drains and material for both baths (only one bathroom had this issue), extra ***** cabinet in kitchen, customize (cut to size) interior doors to fit, unwired 2 electrical boxes in bathroom extend out and rewire. My complaint is the job was done poorly, the bathroom drywall was never removed and new drywall has been hung over it, all screws have popped and all seems are showing for drywall, new subflooring was laid on top of old subflooring and flooring, incorrect fixtures were purchased and placed in the home, countertop it not level, flooring had gaps and is coming up, never finished deck railing or handrail, deck boards are uneven and were not screwed in properly and coming up, duct work is not correct house is freezing in winter and hot in summer, cat has crawled into duct work so there is an opening somewhere, kitchen cabinets never purchased or installed, installed exterior doors poorly, cold air coming in through old range vent opening.
