      Shanes irrigation was contracted to close my irrigation in winter of 2023.I contracted with another company to open my irrigation. That company unbeknown to me subbed the work back to Shanes Irragation.******************* lawn legacy that the system was broken and needed $800 in repairs.I then called Shanes and told them they had serviced my system for the last 5 years and it would have been their fault if the system wasnt closed properly. ***** then told me someone else broke it not him. But again hes the only one thats serviced the system.I then had 2 other companies come look at the system, all teling me it wasnt closed properly, but there repair quotes were $200 not the $800 ***** was trying to get.

      first and foremost I wanted to thank you for being our customer for the past 2 years. you did talk to ***** about this issue on the phone and you did state that you were going to call the BBB you used derogatory language when you spoke to *****. In your customer statement you stated that you contracted with another irrigation company to open your irrigation system. I would contact the irrigation company ( Lawn Legacy) and see exactly what services they did at time of opening. Yes, we provide estimates and every company estimates are different. That does not mean you had to go with us, it is just an estimate. *****;s Irrigation cannot guarantee what another irrigation company does to your irrigation system.  *****'s Irrigation did not damage your irrigation system. Your system was winterized correctly in the fall of 2023 *****'s Irrigation is not liable for any reimbursement to you.

      Received an estimate on May 6, 2020.Told them I wanted to sign a contract on September 2, 2020. Was given an install date of September 21, 2020. Dropped off materials for install on September 21, 2020. Begin work somewhere around November 28, 2020. Finished 80% of the job around December 2, 2020 Of course by this time I have not use the system. March 24, 2021 they came out and finished 10% of the remaining 20% by opening the system adding the proper heads and turning the system on. The only thing left was a small portion of the job that was not completed yet because the flowerbeds had not yet been installed. June 15, contacted Shanes Irrigation because the pump was not adequate to supply the amount of water to the heads need it. Shanes irrigation quoted me on a bigger pump which they finally installed July 22, 2021. Friday, August 6 returned home from a weeklong business trip to realize that the pump is no longer pumping and the yard that was seeded In the spring is dead.

      Sometimes the good guy doesn't always come out on top ...that being said this customer got up sold by another contractor which was probably only an air gap in a plug ( all parts and materials was ordered brand new ) unfortunately I was out of town when he got back into town and couldn't wait ...which I get. He insisted on getting " someone " out there to get it going so he chose to contact another company. We go to every extreme to satisfy our customers but that being said ...you just can't please every one no matter how hard you try - did this job off the cuff mid-season and it came back and got me. His win my lose but still installed the same system I do for all my customers. Wish this customer nothing but success and great health. God Bless !!
