I was highly overcharged in the first place to replace a damper on my refrigerator in February of 2022. By april of 2022 the part they supplied and installed had malfunctioned just 2 months later. They came out with a replacement part covered under manufacturers warrantee. Meaning it was the manufacturers replacement to a part I had already paid for. Basically I had already paid for the part. But had to go through him for the manufacturers warrantee. Really didnt want to have them put it on after I had been informed I would still have to pay full price for the same job again even though they supplies the defective part that broke within 2 months. Upon disagreeing that i should have to pay them full price to replace again and asking him to leave the replacement i paid for already so i could have someone else put it on he decided he was keeping my part and cussed me and tried to leave with a part i already paid for. Had to beg him to put it on and not keep it even though I already paid for the part. Then after being forced to pay him again for the same job full price as hes leaving we have some words and he insults ** **** *** cusses me and tries to get me to come out to the street and fight him. He became violent and aggressive and was throwing things. He scared ** **** they were crying. I see a pattern of reviews of them damaging or supplying faulty repairs and not taking responsibility and charging customers more to fix their wrongs. I see a pattern of this business owner attacking customers and blaming them anytime they leave bad reviews or complain on ****** and I see on some complaints here. I'm so shocked he tried to fight me and became violent and ** **** were very shaken up. Cannot believe a business owner who attacks and threatens customers for complaining has such a high accreditation from your organization and I hope you will investigate this business because he absolute does not deserve to stay in business with that kinda violent disrespectful attitude.Business response

The individual who posted this review has left out a lot of the story. Before calling my office this individual had already left a review on ****** for work performed 2 months prior. I came back to his house to provide another service to him and provided the part free of charge because of the manufacturers warranty. I have never implied to him that his labor or service charge would be free after the expiration of my own personal warranty that lasts for 30 days. So, while in his home and being aware of his ****** review I politely informed him that there would be a fee for the replacement of the part (that fee would have been reduced at the completion of work if everything went smooth). After informing the customer of the fee everything went down hill and fast. (I’d also like to note that the part didn’t fail because of a manufacturing defect or improper installation, but rather the door was left cracked open and frost build up in the damper caused it to not function). After explaining my position and trying to reason with him he began demanding the part, he argued about the price and started talking about taking me to small claims court and cussing me. He brought out a jar of coins for payment, and said “start counting.” I refused to take his coins.
I decided I’d heard enough and left his home (that video isn’t posted). I told him I didn’t want his money. He followed me to my truck and started begging me to come back and fix his refrigerator. “I’m sorry/ I shouldn’t have said those things/ please help me.” I relented with conditions. I told him to pay me now, and I told him not to speak to me and go to the other room or I wasn’t going to help him. He agreed.
I went back into this man’s home to repair the refrigerator and attempt to put the past behind us. As I was finishing the repair he comes back into the kitchen and begins talking to me with the most disgusting demeanor. F this, f that, I’m scum, I’m a punk, I would have never gotten his money again if the part wasn’t under warranty, I’m a piece of ****, and so on. I was leaving peacefully. As I exited the door he says into my ear “you’re a ******* punk!” I’d had enough. I don’t know what world you can talk to people like they are less than you but it isn’t the one I live in. So yeah, I dared him to come out to public property and say what he said in his house. He said I’m right here, let’s go!
