8/22/23 $50 and $166.20 10/27/2023 $429.80 I initially went to this business because my car failed the emissions test and only 1 code popped up. I was told that they charge $50 to do a diagnostic and if I got the repairs done at their shop that $50 would go towards my repairs. The same day (8/22/2023), I also paid $166.20. I was told to drive the car for a few days and bring it back so they can check it and make sure everything was good. I went back on 10/27/2023 and was told I needed another repair but because it would be special order I had to pay for it so it could be ordered. I paid $429.80 that same day. I returned days later and they repaired it. I told by the lady working the counter that I should take it back to emissions because she was sure it would pass. I immediately left the shop and had it tested for the 2nd time. While driving to emissions the car was making a rattling noise that it wasn't making before. The car failed and instead of 1 code being listed now it was showing 3 codes. I returned back to the shop same day and she said they would do a smoke test. They supposedly fixed the problem and she told me to drive it for a couple days and bring it back. I returned some time later and she said they looked it and asked if I wanted them to do a smoke test. I said no and asked for the failed emissions paper. She became angry and said if I took it to emissions it would fail again. I didn't respond, left and went back to emissions. The car failed BUT now only 1 code was showing AND it was different from the codes I had before. I still need to have my car repaired because they didn't truly fix it. I feel they didn't really repair anything. I also feel they were purposely doing things so I would have to get more repairs.Business response

Customer was warned on several occasions ********* and ********* that this vehicle still has an evaporative system leak and would require further diagnostic and/or repair. It is also stated on the customers signed receipt. The customer declined (in a very rude manner) and left our facility. We offer nothing.Initial Complaint

Everything starts on 03/12/2021 when I started noticing when I try to start my car, I have to turn the car key a couple of times. Then the engine light, traction, and the service "4wdtact" was on and is still on now. I did explain the problem to the woman at the counter, I told to her " I start noticing when I try to start the car, I have to turn the car key a couple of times and then the check engine light, traction, and the service 4wd is on" that is what I said to her. She told the mechanic, and gave him my car key. According to them they run a test to find out what is wrong with my car, then she said that there were several codes but only one is more noteable which was P0441 and P0455= Evap vapor canister. She said that the mechanic suggests replacing the air-fuel ratio sensor, and evap canister and it will fix the problem. I purchased the expensive parts and their labor, yet the issue was not fixed. I believe I was wrongfully and overcharged for the misdiagnoses and want a refund.Business response

I am in receipt of the complaint dated 9-8-21. What the customer is failing to mention is that on her initial diagnosis report, and all subsequent repairs, we mentioned that this may be a multi faceted repair spanning multiple visits. The vehicle is older with alot of miles, and also had 13 trouble codes in it when it initially arrived. We did every thing correctly, and fixed her car.
We offer nothing.
