      If ZERO stars were an option I'd select it. I've been a Directbuy member since 2001 when we built a new house and it was great then, we saved over 3 times the cost of our original 10 year membership term, broken down as $5,000 up front that covered the first 2 years and having to renew each year for the remaining 8 years at whatever the price happened to be at the time of renewal, which at that time was $99/yr. On year 5 it went to $149/yr and at year 10 (our final year for the original term) it was $199/yr. At year 11 we had the option of continuing our membership on an annual basis which was still at $199/yr. I continued renewing annually at $199 until it was time to renew in 2019 when the price jumped to $299/yr. They used to have showrooms in my area but by 2014 all of them had closed down in the *********** areas of ***********/************. I called them to complain about the membership price being so high and the fact they didn't even have any showroom store locations anymore and told them I would not be renewing my membership. They negotiated, basically begging me to remain a member and offered me a 5 year membership for $495 ($99/yr.) so in 2019 I renewed for 5 more years. I just received a notice that my membership will be expiring in a couple months. To renew now for one year is $315.45!! There are no options to renew for multiple years. Since renewing in 2019, every time I've searched Directbuy for products I had interest in buying, they were only a few bucks less or more expensive on Directbuy than other places such as Best ************* Amazon, etc. So after doing a simple ****** search I found the following (link is at the end of my post), needless to say, I sure wish I would have known this before, as I could have saved the money I shelled out to keep renewing my membership for the last 12 years, especially considering that I haven't bought anything from Directbuy since 2006, but that's my own fault. ****************************************************

      My wife and I recently refurnished our bedroom and used Direct Buy. Great value, high quality and everything was delivered on time. We are looking forward to using them again when we remodel our bathroom.

      Directbuy was a long time dealer of Madeli products until their account became delinquent. They have since cut off all communications and removed all Madeli Products from their sites to avoid their financial obligations. Anyone doing business with DirectBuy should be cautious of their unethical business practices. ********** LLC.

      Have been a member since 1994 which means nothing to them apparently. They use to have good American made brands that were quality and worth waiting for. Now all they have is cheap junk. Being a member used to be a good thing and you could save money on most quality items that you may not be able to afford otherwise. Now you can find a lot of the same things for less elsewhere or very close to the same price without all the hassles. Anytime you place an order, they charge your credit card up front and you may not get your order for several months. Then they do not send any updates through the process and you have no idea when/if your order has shipped. Several times, I have waited so long that I had to cancel my order and just buy it elsewhere. This has happened more times than I care to say but in each case, I had to contact them then wait several days to confirm a shipping delay then I have to chase them for answers. They are still using the pandemic as an excuse to hold on to my money and not ship my order. They are probably stringing me along until it is too late to dispute the charge with my bank. Do yourself a favor and think twice before joining because you can find most things elsewhere for close to the same amount and sometimes less. You will get better service elsewhere too. I ordered a table from Wayfair that was half the price it would have been from Direct Buy. It arrived damaged and they refunded the money immediately. Never would have gotten that from Direct Buy. They sent me the wrong glass on a light fixture one time and required me to send pictures before they would send the correct glass then they expected me to wrap it up and send it back before they would send the correct shades. Not my job to pack up your mistakes and send them back!

      Direct Buy: RUN from them. The most arduous consumer experience. Ordered a Whirlpool W/D Sept of 2020. Countless delays. The dryer arrived damaged. Replacement dryer finally arrived in February 2022 with a ping in it and grease that needed to be cleaned out but we kept it because it took 17 months to get our complete working relatively undamaged WD unit. I asked for my membership back but it was declined. They gave me ****** gift certificate and free 3 year warranty. I would never deal with these people again. I give 1 star for having the same agent to deal with. I'm sure he is happy to not have to deal with this anymore too.

Unfortunately, shortly after this order was placed our vendor closed their facilities for over a month and are still struggling to catch up on production due to materials and labor shortages. We apologize any trouble this could have caused.

      If I could give DirectBuy zero stars I would. Been a member for 12 years and the customer service of this company is Deteriorating fast!I have been in the middle of a small home addition (my own home) since June 2022. Ordering products through DirectBuy has been a complete nightmare. Most of the orders I had to submit a "Best Price Guarantee" ticket. In reflection, the effort to get the best price was never worth the few dollars in savings.The real reason for this review is from one particular order...Pella windows. I placed an order for 7 Pella windows on June 9th through DirectBuy's affiliate, *********************** (AHE). I was told the turnaround time was ***** weeks. They arrived in 17 weeks and 2 of the 7 vinyl windows were severely warped in both the horizontal and vertical directions...meaning they were wrapped soooo tight and improperly packaged that the vinyl frames bowed inward 2+ inches! by the time I picked them up from my local warehouse (I wish I'm able to attach a photo to show). Additionally, the only thing protecting the windows mesh screen were a thin layer of plastic wrap. It's a miracle the a screen didn't get ripped.On Oct. 4th with the assistance of AHE, we notified Pella with photos of damaged windows. Contact at AHE assured me Pella would put replacement order at front of line and would let me know when rush order date was set. Well, after numerous inquires I finally received an answer from Pella on Oct. 12th that they would replace and ship on Oct 28th.With zero faith in DirectBuy, and AHE, on Oct. 13th I placed an order with ****** for 2 Pella windows to replace the damaged ones with a delivery date by Nov. 27th.Today is Nov. 2nd and I just picked up my 2 windows (in great condition) from ****** and still haven't heard a word from AHE or DirectBuy on the replacement windows.My DirectBuy membership expires in July 2023, but I'm cancelling my membership NOW!

      I do realize that this business will NOT receive any reduction in rating no matter how many omits are filed....But here I go. I ordered a piece of furniture in early January 2022.. it was to be delivered by March 25. Since I was in the hospital I called to make sure the delivery service sis not just show up. I was told the furniture was at the warehouse about 40 minutes from my home and that before delivery I would receive a call. I called about a week later and was told the item was in transit. I asked for clarification and was told I would receive a call within 48 hours. I waited a few days after the 48 and called again. Again I was told I would be called within 48 hours. I started calling the day after 48 hours was up. After several calls I was connected to a escalation manager named ******. She put me on hold and said she spoke with the warehouse and essentially they could not find the furniture and she would request a proof of delivery from the manufacturer and that would be take ***** hours and that's he would call me in that time to let me know what she discovered. About a week later she sent an email saying she requested proof of delivery. That was on April 25. I have card and emailed several times to no avail. After being told I would be called within the next 24 hours yesterday I called today and Spoke with a Concierge Manager named ******************* promised me he would have someone named *************** me by noon today. After waiting until **** Icalled. I was connected to a escalation manager after *** did not answer. I was then called a liar saying **** would never say such a thing. I asked this buffoon to review the tape of my call (they say all calls ate recorded) or to get **** on the line and ask him about it with me on the line. He refused, saying no one would promise a call like that. He then said he would be handling the escalation. He said when I call again I will be placed at the end of the line. Had no knowledge of anything, just bad

      Well we purchased there program and spent $3600.00 and they give you two free trips and then we had COVID -19 so we had to cancel first trip and they would let us but you would have to take both trips next year we'll that's would not work because we were all dealing with this viruses so we lost the first trip and then we had one left so we scheduled it this March to go but we had are puppy got bladder cancer and we are dealing with chemo treatments so we get ahold of them and they said you only had 30 day to cancel so it's to late to cancel now this was a year ago when we scheduled so how would remember that you only have 30 days to cancel and I been dealing with my puppy with chemo treatments .So now I don't think this is right for me and my family to pay the money up front to go on vacation and can't reschedule either one so they are telling me that it's my problem .Now everyone out there now's that we all been going thru h*** in this world because of COVID-19. Then the best part they will not do anything for a customer and they don't bother reaching out to the customer a mounth before your 30 days are up and either ask you or remind you that your 30 days are coming up if you have to reschedule your trip .SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE IN THIS WORLD IT'S A BIG RIPOFF . THANK YOU FOR STEALING MY MONEY. I THINK I SHOULD BE REFUND MY MONEY BACK SINCE I WAS NOT ABLE TO GO ON ANY OF THERE VACATIONS THAT THEY GIVE YOU WHEN YOU SIGN UP WITH THEM.

      Same story as everyone else. I ordered a buffet that is a match for my dining room set 28 April 2021. Delivery date kept moving out further and further. Finally it was delivered to the local area for delivery to me mid November 2021. On the day they were to deliver I received a call saying the company had not unboxed it until that day and they found extreme damage in the form of broken parts and electrical cords cut. They said they refused to try and deliver it in that condition. They contacted DirectBuy and provided documentation. DirectBuy reordered the replacement from the company and once again the date for delivery kept moving out. First it was February, then end of March, now it is 27 April 2022 to ship not for receiving it, just for shipping out from the company. By the time I get it, if I get it, MORE than a year will have passed. DB asked if I wanted to substitute another buffet. I told them no since I want the item that would complete my set. I've been a member since 2008 and at this point I'm just fed up with the company. I have spoken to customer service several time tracking the item to see when I might receive it. I'm sure a lot of the problems are a result of Covid but at this point just disgusted with the whole thing. **************** reps have been nice but that really doesn't help the matter or resolve the problem.
