    Renting from caps is the worst decision I've made! I moved into my rental earlier this year. Two weeks after moving in, I discovered a toddler sized hole in my lower kitchen cabinet. There was mouse droppings everywhere! I wish I could post pictures with this complaint. The kitchen cabinets were also damaged, possibly due to water damage. The refrigerator was disgusting! I reached out to maintenance who was very rude and inconsiderate. I asked for someone to come out to fix the hole and for an exterminator. She said that pest issues are the tenants' problem once they move in and the best she could do was send someone to fix the hole. I ended up paying out of pocket for monthly pest control. The person that was sent to do my repairs was unprofessional and had poor work ethic. NONE of my issues were resolved, which led to a horrible mouse infestation months later. I was afraid to come into my house because there were dead mice on the sticky traps that I paid for and put down, daily! CAPS charged me a $350 inspection fee prior to moving in, but I was forced to live with mice the majority of the time I was here. Clearly, no one inspected the place because they would've known of that big entry way for pests in my kitchen! They charge you $100 fee for every little thing, but yet, the customer service is atrocious. The icing on the cake for me was the inspection. They have a heating company come out to inspect the furnace, but they took pictures of every room in my home, with ALL of my personal belongings out. Not one picture, besides the one I requested the inspector to take, could determine if the property was damaged or broken in any way. This man literally took pictures of my personal space and belongings. No walls, no outlets, no cracks in the foundation, no missing doors, none of that! Just my belongings! I feel so violated. I pay over $1500 to live here and I feel cheated and taken advantage of. I don't cause no trouble, I just want to live peacefully.
