I booked a room for Comfort Inn and Suites in at *********************************************************************************, through booking.com for $169.86. When I arrived at the hotel they clerk could not find my reservation. I showed her the email confirmation, with the reservation number room type and cost. She said it should be in her system but it was not so I would not be charged from booking.com and I would have to book through them. So I did and was charged $203.78. An hour later, a charge of $169 from booking.com hot my bank account. I went back to the clerk and told her. At that time she saw the booking.com reservation in her system. I asked for a refund. She told me she could not process refunds and that a manager would be on site in the am to take of it. She did provide a cancelation letter. In the morning, there was not a manager on site. The AM clerk said he could not process any refunds. Both charges came though my bank account on Monday 6/24. I have tried to call the hotel and the ** Sunny Pat has not been there. I tried to call ************* that owns Comfort Inn and they told me there is nothing they can do. The hotel has to take care of it. This is fraud!!!! I had proof of a reservation and it should have been honored.
