      Wonderful experience! This company saved me about 20K. I called a bunch hvac services and everyone said my system was unfixable; that I needed a new central air system. Su, with Good Neighbor took a picture of the diagram inside the fan, and fixed it. He even fixed the AC which the other company said was toast. I purchased a maintenance plan with another company, and they didn't follow through on their promises. Su cleaned the system, fixed it, was fair, fast and communicative. I am so grateful. A+ for trust, expediency, value and communication.

      ***** was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. ****** in the office was great too. ***** communicated what was happening and made this a painless event. ***** was familiar with the equipment in the house and gave me the history on each item. He informed me of the maintenance service offered through his company and yet did not make me feel pressured or uncomfortable. (I really dislike pushy sales people).I recommend A Good Neighbor Heating & Cooling or honest, straight-forward service.****************

      Furnace went out for 2nd time in 4 years since they put furnace in. Called to have it fixed and they charged me 516 dollars for a 9 dolla part that took 20 minutes to change. When I questioned them on it I was told I was stupid and didnt know anything. Told them they were ripping people off. Did not give a itemized bill just a number and said pay this. Got in to argument with owner on phone about it he told me not to call them and he hoped my house burned down. Unprofessional and should not be in business. Has a mobile service but wants to charge u to go get a part.

      Mr. ****** called prior to 8AM with a "no heat" situation and a truck was dispatched to him within the hour. Mr. ****** agreed to the $129 service call fee. The technician arrived, diagnosed the issue and gave Mr. ******** wife a complete price prior to any work being done. She approved and instructed the technician to proceed with the repair. The part needing replacement has a temperature safety built in that prevents a dangerous situation such as fire. This part requires an exact temperature matching OEM (original equipment) part. This required the tech to drive to a parts distributor, purchase the part then get back to the house, install the part, and run the furnace to test the system for proper operation. These costs were all quoted in the price approved by the customer. After completing the repair as agreed and the heat was filling the home with nice, warm air again (within two hours of his call), Mr. ****** launched his first complaint. He was upset that we didn't have the part on our truck. I explained this was a very specific part and that it is impossible to stock every part for every furnace on a truck, however, we did secure the part in a very timely manner and got his heat back on for him. Mr. ****** was then screaming that our company ripped him off. He said you are a rip off and a thief and I will destroy your business and leave bad reviews and tell everyone how terrible you are. I told him I was no longer interested in doing business with him and that he should call someone else in the future. I never told Mr. ****** that I hoped his house would burn down. I told him the reason we needed that specific part was because it is temperature controlled to shut his furnace off and keeps his house from burning down. I am sorry Mr. ****** is upset. I realize that costs are up and it's getting harder on all of us. All of our customers know exactly what the price of the work will be before we ever begin a repair and we always stick to that price no matter how long it takes us to do the repair or what issues we may run into during our time there. It is referred to as "up front pricing" which never incurs overtime or any additional costs. The price quoted is the price paid.
