    **** was hired to diagnose and fix pontoon engine. First came out on May 8th. attached a fuel line and cleaned the carburetor and said was good to go. Had pontoon put in the water the next day and it stalled out before I could even get to our dock. Sent him a text May 12 and said would come look at the next day. Did not come the next day and put me off because said had a bigger job to finish. May 14 said he got it running good and wanted to go over a few things. Said I needed to purchase a new fuel tank and fuel line. I purchased new items on May 15 and I installed and took pontoon out and still having the same issues. sent him a text that evening and the response was "will figure it out". After some back and forth he said he could come back on the 16th and if I could be there and could I buy a new fuel filter to be installed. He came and installed fuel filter with beer in hand and it did run for a short time on a test drive. Next day took boat out and same thing happens in stalling. Suggested I put seafoam in the gas tank. Messaged him again and said was having the same issues. He was unable to come back and look at again until Friday 5/23...was at the house about 5 minutes and said he flooded the engine and now thinking it needs a new fuel pump. Ask him to call me on pricing. Said fuel pump would be $130 and wanted to pull the boat out. We had conversation on the phone and he was unable to accomodate that day any further due to the Holiday weekend. I definitely understood and was told he would be there Tuesday. That is today 5/28. Messaged him to see when he was coming and was told he was finishing up another job and could not come until tomorrow. This was the end of my patience and told him that if he could not come today that he could forget coming at all. I am out over $350 and over 3 weeks of trying to get this fixed and it is worse than when he started repairing. I would like monies refunded. I do not want him doing any further work.
