I signed up for home delivery for the Muncie StarPress around March of 2022. I ordered and paid for a year's subscription with delivery 7 days a week. I paid $500.00 for this service and even paid a $50.00 tip for my carrier. Well, I have had nothing but trouble with their service.1) when I first signed up, I was told that our carrier would bring a "paper box" and put it next to our mailbox. This NEVER happened. The paper was thrown on the ground, sometimes in the side ditch. I will say that it was normally put in plastic, so most papers were readable, but there were several papers that were too wet to read.When I called customer service to inquire when our paper box was coming, I was told "it will be there within 5 days". I was told this for three months, finally gave up on ever getting one.2) I missed receiving several papers through early November. I would call and they would give me credit, but now, I have not received a paper in 6 weeks!! I have called their worthless customer service line and assured each time that they would report my issue to the delivery people and it would be handled. To date, I have called about 30 times, and still do not have a paper. I have tried calling all kinds of phone numbers to try to speak to someone who might possibly "care about their paying customers", but nothing has happened and no papers have been delivered for 6 weeks. 3) I tried to go in person to speak with someone to no avail. They are not located at ********************* any longer, they are on North Walnut Street in downtown Muncie. I recently went there and there was only one person at this location and he was behind locked glass doors. When I knocked, he pretended like he did not hear or see me. I tried calling an ************ Gannet paper as I know they own the Muncie StarPress. When I got half my sentence out of my mouth, I was transferred to the worthless customer service number.I would like my newspaper, the one that I paid for, delivered.Initial Complaint

In April, on about the week of April 4th I changed my subscription with the Star Press from daily delivery to Sunday delivery with daily e-editions. This was due to delivery issues which I have called their **************** about many, many times. I am still having delivery issues. I have NOT received the Sunday paper since then. I have gone to a Dollar General store 1 mile from my house and purchased a Sunday paper for $3.99 each for the past 2 weeks. If the paper can be delivered to the Dollar General Store one mile from my home why can't we get the Sunday paper delivered to our home? I have reported it using the online customer service plus I have called and talked to their customer service reps about this problem. . WHY, WHY can't this problem be resolved??!! We have been customers of the paper for **************************************************** the last year. When I talked to a customer service rep she assured me that we would get Sunday delivery but so far we have not had a paper delivered and that was two weeks ago. I thought the Sunday delivery would resolve the delivery issue but it hasn't!!! I have even been assured by these reps that a Regional Distribution Manager would be giving me a call within 24 hours about the issue, but I have have not had a call back yet and it's been over a week. ************************* ****************************************************** Phone: *************
