On September 11th 2021 I went into this shop and was quoted $120-$140 on the tattoo I was planning on receiving from ****, I was told my tattoo would take about 2 hours and would start at 6 pm. At 6 pm I was informed that ***** would be taking over my tattoo from **** and that my tattoo would start a few minutes later than planed but still take 2 hours. I gave my reference material to ***** and between 6 and 730 he made the stencil for my tattoo, at around 745 ***** had applied my stencil and told me it would take about 10 minutes to dry and that he'd be taking a smoke break in that time. At around 830 ***** returned from his smoke break and finally began tattooing. At around 9 he finished my line work and took another smoke break. At around 930 he returned to my tattoo and began colour. His colour work took until about ****, in which time he did his colour work extremely slowly and made multiple passes over the same spots, leaving my tattoo with areas of light scarring that weeped out all the ink put into these spots. After my tattoo was covered with plastic and medical adhesive tape [of which i am allergic to and had told the shop before hand] I was told that they extra 2 and a half hours would make my quoted amount higher and was charged roughly $260 over all for the tattoo and not allowed to leave until I paid the full amount he requested. I did not receive after care information or touch up information. When I later approached the shop for fixing the damaged tattoo I was told that they only did touch *** on Thursdays at a time i am not available, and then given one calendar date that I would have been able to come in on a non Thursday that I was also not able to go to due to previous commitments.Business response

The customer left a complaint that is completely inaccurate. He messaged studio stating that he used aqua phone to care for his tattoo and had a reaction to his aftercare choice. ***** responded that he could come in on a Sunday and do the touch up to fit his needs with clients schedule. Client never responded to getting his touch up. Then 10 months later he is filing a complaint giving false statements. I will not issue a refund as we do not offer refunds. Especially since client did not want to follow up with appointments.
