I am rejecting this response because:
i spoke with the owner over the phone , she is aware of my name - as it was my daughter who received the puppy i accompanied her to pick up the puppy given her husband a copy of my ID on the day we came - when i spoke with her our very first conversation was literally a few days after we brought the puppy home and my daughters apartment building would not allow her to keep the puppey because they were not given adequate notice which was explained in our over the phone conversation - and my question to her was can we bring the puppy back and that we were aware of the no refund policy , that was never an issue - when i left the voicemail it was over the weekend so i did not receive an immediate call back , ****************** ( i believe is the owners name) but when she called me back i introduced myself to her as ******* **********; and she explained that they were having electrical issues, however when she called back not only was the issue about returning the dog the dog had become sick vomiting , and ******** i explained to her that i had initially called about bringing him back but then the issue with the vomiting happened i told her my daughter was at the vet immediate care with the puppy and that the immediate care doc had told us bring him in because it sounds like Parvo - and ***************** response was yea they always say that - she then assured me that i will work with you through this and we will figure this out she asked me to send whatever paperwork from the vet immediate care to her but she never gave me an email address , she stated she would speak with her " Lawyer" then get back to us - was not sure why as we never wanted any money we simply wanted to return the puppy - but in the process the puppy was had gotten sick , that was our last conversation and she never called me back again - that same evening my daughter who the pupper was for called her and she told her the same thing that she was waiting to hear from a Lawyer and that she would call her back and she never did - ( i am not sure if my daughter sent her any paperwork from the vet or not )- so first i think that was bad buiness to not retrun or f/u on a call when your site says you have an open door policy and you prefer that the puppies are returned to you and not given away .fast forward after we never heard back from them - we worked with my daughters property company to keep the puppy so that was no problem it worked itself out .
then just Saturday 12/10/22 we took the pupper to his regular vet visit for a checkup and the additional shots that he needs so that we can enroll him into daycare - but after getting there and presenting the vet with the shot record given to us by this company the vet made comment about there was no vet signature , NPI or lot numbers for the vaccinations on this card , and our vet was not sure why there was no vet signature if this was administered by an actual vet - which means we had to pay for shots that was listed on the shot record as our vet stated that we want to be sure he is actually vaccinated and its better to be over vaccinated than under vaccinated , no we did not attempt to call this company back as we could see they were never gonna call us back from our initial conversation that we had with them , to me it looked as if they got the payment for the dog and did not want the dog back - so i decided to File an complaint - still respecting the no refund policy - we were able to keep the dog he is healthy happy and thriving - although he has a slight deformity with his knee- but if this is true that there should be a vet signature on the vaccination cards then this is why i am filing this complaint, and going forward there should be follow up calls made if a concerned buyer has called you - dont tell someone that you are for them and there to help them and then never call back .
this was a month or so ago when i had the initial conversation with ****************** - and ironically we have received multiple calls from them on yesterday after BBB has reached out to them, my wish is that they would have had this same energy a month ago .

******************,
We welcome honest complaints and allow our clients the opportunity to address any concerns they may have. We do not have ************************* ******* on file as a client of ours, but we do have ************************* who purchased the puppy for her granddaughter ************************** on November 19, 2022.
We fully acknowledge that you feel the vaccines that were given mightve done nothing, but they also might be saving the puppys life while hes out in public or around other animals. When facing a lack of information about what the breeder did or didnt do, with no background about who the breeder is or if they have done what they needed to do for the puppy to be protected, we know that some veterinarians assume that the breeder didnt do things correctly. Legally and ethically, they have no other choice but to over vaccinate your dog. Your puppys future veterinarian hasnt had any contact with us and does not know us and therefore has no reason to trust us.Yes, we have excellent, responsible breeders, but there are A LOT of less-than-reputable puppy producers out there. For a veterinarian to believe that our breeders are the former and not the latter, we provide you with evidence and keep records for ourselves.
Some breeders choose to administer their own vaccines while others choose to have a veterinarian administer them.
We always include the following information for our clients to bring with them to their puppys vet visits:
* A health record booklet with the label from the vaccine that includes the name of the vaccine, the serial number, expiration date and the date the puppy received that vaccine
*A health record and booklet with the dates and deworming that the puppy has received
* Labels with the microchip number attached and the website to register the microchip in your name
* Our license number and contact information
* We provide all new owners with the original and keep a copy for our own records, because as a veterinarian, theyll have no idea if a copy is legit or not.
Typically, receiving basic vet care including vaccinations, a health check-up, and a microchip are all signs that we care about the health and wellbeing of our puppies.
Our goal is to make sure the puppies have 2, sometimes 3 rounds of the combo DHPP/**** vaccine separated by 2-4 weeks. There are other non-core vaccinations such as Bordatella and Leptospirosis that a vet may recommend depending on your location and lifestyle that are typically given around ***** weeks of age.
Some breeders do not provide proper documentation of vaccines they claim to have given. They will hand write some sort of vaccine schedule without the vaccine sticker (which includes lot number, manufacturer, and expiration date) or they will provide a paper with just stickers on it and no dates or information about the animal it was given to but that wasnt the case with your puppy. In the US it is not illegal for a breeder to give most vaccines. By law, the Rabies vaccine may only be given by a licensed veterinarian, but there are no such laws for the other vaccines.
New regulations were put into place in 2020. Those changes were for maintaining a license under the Animal Welfare Act and for veterinary care of dogs.Specifically, all regulated facilities are required to work with their veterinarian to develop a written program of veterinary care for their dogs.
All our puppies receive a complete head to tail physical exam by the breeders veterinarian and our vet to ensure their health and wellbeing. The veterinarians that examined your puppy never observed or notated any knee or joint problems. We do guarantee that the puppy were selling is healthy and free of serious infectious disease and require that our clients take their new puppy to their own veterinarian to be examined within a specified amount of time. During that visit your veterinarian can make certain everything looks good, that the appropriate vaccinations have been given for the puppy's age and you can return the puppy in that time frame. When we spoke with you over the phone, we were told that everything checked out fine, but the puppy needed to be returned because of living situations.
We asked for a little time to consult with our attorney because weve never had the experience of someone returning a puppy in under 48 hrs and on November 21,2022, we had given Chantanique ******* a call but didnt receive an answer or callback,so we assumed everything was okay. We reached out to ***************************** to address her concerns that were brought to our attention because we previously had no knowledge of them. Our first time speaking with you, *********************************, was on November 20, 2022, the day after the puppy went home.
As a brand, we will never be perfect, just as any business or human being walking the Earth. Regardless, we will always strive for greatness in our efforts to place happy healthy puppies with their new families. We appreciate our clients that understand that a new business isnt born running, just as a new baby isnt born walking, who understand patience and support, and who follow their contracts. We put our hearts into what we do and try to address everyones questions and concern as promptly as we can. We are so devoted and selfless that at times we are on the phone with our clientsearly mornings and late nights just to answer questions. We are diligent with our puppies and clients needs. Each puppy is seen by 2 licensed veterinarians, ***** exams are done (If a ***** exam comes back positive, we take extra measures to make sure the next ***** comes back negative), parvo virus tests are performed, they are on routine deworming and vaccinations schedules before leaving. We do not list puppies that are suspected to have any congenital defects or viral/bacterial disease we. We would never make fake health records just to place puppies in homes, we understand the severity of puppies being vaccinated at young ages.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I have no other comments on this matter after this , my initial complaint will not change , i will not continue to go *************** and around my issue at hand - who purchased a puppy or not , when the female owner was not present on the day myself , daughter and mother picked up the puppy ( Again this is not my issue with this business) it was not my complaint - See my initial complaint , and also my follow up response - and my feelings will not change on this matter regardless of the response issued by this company.
If this business have a licensed Vet that is great , then that Vet should include signatures or NPI numbers on vaccination cards moving forward so that others do not run into this same problem and lastly when customers have any issue , rather it is a purchase, return or question or complaint for example if a customer has a question re returning a puppy ( in which the website states is an option) even if you have yo consult an ( Attorney) you as the business should follow up reach out , leave a message , as have a business like this i highly doubt this was the first time this has happened - you should never assure any customer / buyer that you will contact them back regarding whatever the issue is and you never call back , in my opinion that is not professional or good business practice - a customer should never have to file a complaint with the BBB for a business to return a call multiple times.
