Since we moved into the newly built home, we have had constant issues with sewer fumes backing up into the home because the plumber ******** ***** ** ******** did not vent the pipes. We have notified employees of Infinity and told to call the office. Nobody answers or returns calls from messages left. Have talked to the plumber several times, sent him pictures and explained the issue. He states he will come out and never shows. Have filed the complaint on the one year warranty form but no response from Infinity. Will seek legal action if necessary.Initial Complaint

We moved into our new construction home in ******** ***** on 08/26/2021. On one of our final walk throughs that was on 8/19/2021 with the superintendent ******* we noticed a number of things that were pointed out and brought to the attention of *******. For instance we had a crack in our front porch that ran the entire depth from front to back along with visible issues with the finish of the concrete due to incorrect settings on a pressure washer. ******* informed us that he would have someone come out on 8/30/2020 to address the issues and no one ever came. The crack on our porch that was brought up on our final walk through has grown bigger and continues to grow. The finish of the concrete was never addressed as well. Another issue was we were having standing water after rain and continue to have the same issue in our driveway near the garage door. Their fix was to use a bobcat to “regrade” the area only to mess the yard up even more than it was to begin with without telling us and realize they were doing it because we got a notification on our security system. That issue was brought up to *******, the VP of construction and even to warranty department to get the issues addressed. Here we are 8 months after bringing these issues to the attention of ******* and Infinity homes and they have yet to be addressed. We keep getting told that will address on this date but then don’t show up or don’t give us any indication that they aren’t coming. We send email to the warranty department only to be told “we have sent this email to *******’s manager, *****. ***** will be in touch so that we can get these items resolved for you all.” That was 3 weeks ago and still no contact from anyone at Infinity. I went even as far to email **** ***** the president on 3/28/2022 and never got a response from him either. ** **** has emailed the warranty on several occasions without any action from Infinity.Business response

I purchased a new home from the builder 12.30.2021. Upon closing, there was post list of items that needed to be addressed. There were 14 items on this list. In order to have those addressed in a timely manner, I did the contacting in regards of requesting dates and times of completion. 1 item remains unresolved. I understand Infinity is still building homes in the neighborhood and majority of those workers are the same individuals that will be repairing or addressing my concerns. In this regard, I have been patient and understanding but this last issue is problematic and must be addressed immediately. I refuse to wait as it is a hazard and the rooms cannot be utilized at this point. I have a major leak in my basement that has caused damage to drywall, laminate flooring and carpet. I have a 2 year builders warranty as these issues are covered. I paid over 454,000 for this home and cannot utilize 2 rooms in my finished basement. This has the potential of being a health hazard as mold can settle. A guy was sent to my home yesterday and did not attempt to find the leak. All he did was troubleshoot by sealing the outside window. It rained significantly yesterday and large amounts of water is settling under my laminate flooring in the bedroom and my carpet is ruined in the living space. I pulled the carpet back to the concrete trying to prevent anymore damage.Business response

Hi there,
We have reached out to Mrs. ******* regarding the concern of the leak in her basement. We did send someone out to repair the leak previously when she first notified us of the claim on 3/13/22.
We have not heard from her regarding the claim in the complaint stating that the repair did not work. We will get someone out ASAP to get this handled for her.
Best,
The Customer Care Team
