      My Tahoe was taken to this business to be evaluated for possible transmission repair. **** informed me that he could fix the car but would be better/cheaper to simply get a new car. He discussed with me a van he had that was for sale. I was able to see the van and decided it was not going to fit our needs. **** was out of town at this time and I was experiencing medical issues. He asked me about taking the Tahoe home and I explained I was working on a hauler. At NO TIME did he discuss storage of the Tahoe remained on his property. On Monday, January 3rd I received a text message that the Tahoe had to be removed THAT day or storage would apply. I messaged back that I would have it removed and pay him for the tow to his location but not for storage as that had never been discussed. After numerous unpleasant messages he informs me that I owe him 200$ before I can take my Tahoe. This battle continued until He dropped his price to 150 and I finally told him I would pay 100$ (69 for the tow and the rest for his diagnostics). I was not going to be held hostage over storage which he suddenly made-up when I was going to remove the car. I told him he was a scammer and that he was never to contact me again. My friend called **** on the phone and was forced to pay 150$ in order to claim the Tahoe. I have no receipt for any of this scam. There was never any agreement regarding storage and this only came about when I was taking my car. **** held my property for ill gotten gains and scammed us when I would not buy his van. I would like my money returned save the 69$ tow fee.

      UPDATED: Scroll to the bottom I do NOT recommend this place to anyone!! This is going to be very long... but I have to put this out there for anyone willing to read all the way through.. So we are new to the area and needed a second vehicle. Happened to see he had a van for sale so we stopped and checked it out, drove it everything seemed great paid him for the van and about a week later we were out of town almost 3 hours away visiting family and it broke down, we had to rent a uhaul dolly and my parents ended up towing it and took us home. My husband called him and he said to bring it back so we towed it there and He checked it out and told us what he thought it was and that he was going to replace the part. So we left it with him and he began working on it. My husband ended up calling to check in and see how things were going since we hadn’t heard from him within the time frame he said he would contact us and he immediately got irritated that we were calling. He had agreed to take care of what ever the issue was at no charge since we bought it from him and it didn’t even make it a week, he felt responsible even though my husband offered to cover what ever was needed we just took it to him for his services not because we expected him to take care of it for free but he insisted it was on him, so the part he originally thought was the problem ended up not being it so he informed my husband he thought he had it figured out and continued to work on it, just like with any other mechanic shop my husband checked In with him after a few days and he ended up getting a huge lecture about how the guy hadn’t got any sleep the night before and he does not want to be bothered when he is working on someone’s vehicle, he wants to be left alone and when he’s done he will let you know. sorry bud, that’s not how it works and mind you my husband did not blow his phone up. More happened but I’ll make it shortish, so after THREE WEEKS of having our van, he calls and was super nice, says he found the issue it’s fixed and ready to be picked up. My husband informs him we are out of town 7 hours away and will pick up on Thursday when we get back unless it’s in his way in which case we could have someone pick it up. He said no it was fine and not in his way just to pick it up when we got back. We ended up getting stuck in severe weather in Alabama Thursday and didn’t make it back till Friday so my husband tries contacting him soon as we get into town and no answer. Today is Saturday we go to pick up the van and on our way we cannot get ahold of him, no answer to calls or text so we just stop by and we walk to the garage and he is immediately angry. Gave us a huge story about the two vehicles he currently has in his shop and how the owners have called and asked questions on when their vehicle would be ready and that no one respects him and his space and time, he was angry about that and when I say angry he was yelling and ended up saying we needed to pay him for the parts after he insisted he cover it all because we caused him stress and what not because of calling to check in about OUR vehicle... my husband tried to respond and he ended up saying he would just charge us for the parts and his time and labor and he would just own the van again... Also for anyone thinking of using this guy he informed us that from now on if he has someone’s vehicle in his shop and they call asking about it while he is working on it, he is going to add 100 a pop in his words to the bill.. seriously unbelievable... DO. NOT. GO. HERE. He has some serious issues.... UPDATE So, two days later and I am stranded in town with my children, with my husband an hour away at work, the van is doing the same thing as before, which he claimed he fixed.. 2900 later we still do not have a running vehicle and no telling how much we will be out now with towing expenses... Just hoping I help someone not make the same mistake we did... so disappointed in this mans service.. Current Situation with the vehicle… We have been told by another mechanic that this transmission is shot after he told us he put a brand new one in it..
