Mollet Automotive agreed to fix my trucks head gasket for 1100$, if the heads were cracked it would be an additional 600$. They told me it would be about 3 weeks until they could work on it, I agreed to those terms. It took them 2 years to start the repairs. I called monthly for about the first year, i couldn't get anyone to answer the phone and would have to drive there just to be able to talk to anyone. They discovered that the problem was the timing chain cover. I agreed to replace the gaskets and replace the timing chain. The heads were cracked as well and I agreed to replace them. After doing the repairs, they couldn't get the truck to run correctly. I said that I would come pick ir up and pay him for the work that had been done, he said he wanted to figure it out and told me to leave it there. Around the same time the drivers rear door window got broke, he replaced it but the new window isn't tinted to match the rest of the truck. He replaced several sensors that were new trying to get it running correctly without luck ( I never got a call about replacing these sensors or I would have let him know they were new). After test driving it while trying to get it to run correctly he said the transmission wasn't acting correctly to which he checked the fluids and discovered it was low on transmission fluid, the transmission is going out now according to him. He told me he was done and I needed to come pick it up and pay him. The bill is now 2,800$ for my truck that doesn't run correctly and the transmission is broke now, the window that doesn't match. I assumed the bill would be around 2,000$ for a fixed truck. I took it to him on 3-12-2020, he started working on it around 4-1-2022 and told me to get it around 9-1-22. I haven't paid him due to it being more that expected and the truck being worse off than when I hauled it to him.
