    I was overcharged $42.95 at the *** Theatre 12 in Schererville, IN on 6/6/2022. I took my family there for my sons birthday and there were 6 of us, so we asked for 6 tickets. We had 5 golden tickets which we redeemed, and therefore only needed to pay for one ticket at $6.49 which we did using my credit card. When I got my CC statement, I saw that Id been charged for all six tickets ($49.44) so I disputed it with my CC company. I have the receipt that shows I was supposedly charged $6.49 by cashier #****. However *** is disputing my request for the refund of $42.95.

    I have never been to this theater before and I went to see two films. The first film played just fine without any problems. The second movie, Fly Me to the Moon, played on one of their biggest screens but the film was playing wrong. The picture was in the middle of the screen with black bars all around. I went and talked to the manager (****). **** kind of blew me off but he said they would "look into it". They didn't.Then another person went and complained because the sound got worse as the film played. It was very hollow, tin-y, and was only coming out of the center and right speakers. Again, nothing was done. I finally had enough and went to talk to the manager again. When I told **** the problems hadn't been fixed, **** sat back in his chair and laughed at me. Not a big laugh but one of the condescending small laughs. **** told me they are not checking it again. I told **** they didn't check the first or second time but ************* me off. I asked for ****'s name and **** refused to give it to me. I told ************* was ripping people off and I left. On my way home, I called the theater FOUR times and no one picked up. I turned around and went back to the theater. I talked to a really nice girl who had scanned my ticket for the film and she gave me his name which is ****. I thanked her and left.I will NEVER return to this theater after the way I was treated. **** needs a reality check. You can't talk to people like that. **** was rude, condescending, and not a very nice person. When I complained both times, I was nice about it and I was met with by being laughed at. That is right. **** laughed at me for wanting to see the film the way it was supposed to be seen. The other people who complained also left. If I could give this theater zero stars I would. The manager's name was ****. That's ****. Don't forget the man's name. It was ****.The other employees I dealt with were very nice. It was **** who wasn't. Again, **** was rude and condescending. ****.
