My 84 year mother bought this worthless fridge from Maruszcak (************, **), it was replaced by ****** Appliance (***********) within 6 months due to bad controls and door. The "replacement" lasted 5 months. ****** said "it was going to be replaced" again. Then Frigidaire changed their mind and arranged for *** to replace the compressor. The compressor was to be sent to my mother. *** never actually talked with her. The compressor was never sent, only a rubber footing part. After days of multiple attempts to find out what's going on *** emailed that they didn't get the compressor either. They are scheduled to be here Thursday, yet with no compressor. This has been a 3 week plus torture on my "84" year mother. 3 ice chests daily filled, lost food and mainly fast food. *********************************** ARE BAD COMPANIES!Business response

Dear *******, I am so sorry to hear of this problem! I'm not sure if you have contacted us, but I certainly want to resolve this issue. Can you please give me your mothers contact information so I can look up her sales invoice to see what model she purchased? Once I have that, I can see if I have a replacement for her. I bought all new appliances from this business. They were delivered on 4/8/22. The ice maker stopped working in the freezer. I want to exchange this for a different refrigerator. This is brand new and should work. When I talked to a manager about exchanging it he rudely told me that "nothing in life is perfect." Then he would not stop talking so I could not even tell him what was wrong with the unit. I am not asking for a refund but I want a new unit. This should be in perfect working condition. I don't wish to give them my business. I would like to return ALL the appliances and buy them at a different store due to how rudely I was treated. I do not want to give this company my business.Business response

I am very sorry for the issue that you are having. I can understand how this can be an inconvenience. Unfortunately, unless there is an issue upon installation, we do not replace an appliance without at least having service check out the product. This is why the manufacturers give a one year warranty with their products, in case there is an issue they back it up. However, if the refrigerator is not able to be fixed, then we would be able to explore the exchanging of the refrigerator.
