I frequent this place and I have never had an issue before but on Sunday, February 20, 2022 things were different. I'm usually dolled up but on this particular day I was rocking a GUESS baseball cap. I was by myself and I normally sit at the bar but it was packed. I asked the host if I could sit at the seats that are lower than the bar because that was the only seating available. She said yes. I sat there and waited about 15 minutes and no one greeted me or asked me if I wanted to order. I saw a manager in a cheetah print sweater and asked her if it was ok for me to sit there because no one had asked me if I wanted anything yet. She immediately got defensive with me and said they probably didn't see me sitting there. I explained to her that I made eye contact with both bartenders so they did in fact see me. She said ok and offered to clean the space and walked away. The bartender then decided that he would ask me what I was drinking. I asked him why he didn't ask me when I first sat down and he said, "I assumed you were waiting for a take out order. That's where take out customer's usually sit." The manager in the cheetah print sweater had not come back yet so I asked someone in a chef's outfit who the top dawg was in the house. She responded, "I am." I told her I wanted to her about why I was being treated a certain way and her response was, "I don't think we are treating you a certain way." She was no where in the area when the situation took place but jumped right in defense mode when I said something to her. I told her not to even worry about it and that I would be calling customer service. Her response was, "Ok. That's fine. You'll just end up talking to me again anyway." I was forced to eat my lobster ravioli with a spoon because no one brought me silverware. Clearly no one in this restaurant cares about customer concerns! I guess you need to look a certain way to eat there despite the fact that this isn't a five star restaurant!
