This event occurred September 2022 I know it’s been slightly over a year. But I have had nothing but issues with the truck I bought from Jeffrey's. It actually broke down the day I drove it off the lot. They came and took the truck back for 3 weeks and claimed it was good to go. When I got it back it started doing the same thing. I took it to a mechanic shop who had it for months and told me the DEF system was deleted I was not aware of that when I purchased it. The did not disclose that information to me. Also the extended warranty I bought with the truck will not cover anything because the system is deleted that cost me $3,200 on top of the purchase. The truck is not reliable to drive I have gotten stuck 4 hours away from home in it while I had a horse on my trailer. Also I would like to add I’ve not once had to change the oil in the truck because of how little I have drove it I’ve not put enough miles on it.Business response

This is the first it has been brought to my attention of the BBB attempting to contact Jeffrey's Auto concerning this matter. I received this message on 1-11-24. This truck was purchased 9-15-22! It's always our hope that our customers will be satisfied with their purchases and we regret any mechanical issues that have occurred. We sell everything as is. We try to assist in many instances, which it sounds by the customers complaint that we assisted her. I contacted **** ********* on 1-13-04 and made no promises to fix the truck but offered free of charge for her to bring the truck to our shop and see if our mechanic could asses the problem and figure out a solution.

We purchased a extended warranty and traded the vehicle in. It's been a month now and just found out they haven't canceled the warranty for our refund prorated. We feel like they're not going to so they don't have to refund the balance.Business response

We talked to our customer 11-3-23 at approximately 10;00 am. They had the car repaired at ******* **** in Seymour Indiana. The warranty company did pay the claim; but somehow ******* **** mistakenly charged the customer also, thus getting paid twice! We confirmed with the customer that the warranty company did pay the claim and also sent out documents showing it was paid. She needs to go to ******* **** and get her refund.Customer response
