We did show up like we said we would to ********************** and *****'s Step. *********************** assumed we would remove the caulk; we do not do that, and the work order only says lift and stabilize step that is what ******* told us he wanted done.
*********************** stayed in the house the whole time we dealt with her husband *************************** from the time he called for an estimate to scheduling the job and on the job. We did not take any money from them, they said they were not happy. If we kept lifting it would have done damage to the gutter, ******* offered to remove it, but it was screwed into the brick all the way up the house it wouldn't have been an easy job to remove.
If *********************** wanted the caulk removed, they should have told me, and I would have explained that we do not do that. All we were told is to lift the step. ******* and *********************** did not tell us the gutter was added after the concrete had settled or we would have told them we would need that removed first. We also lifted another area they wanted done that was not on the work order because they added it onsite.
