            On October 7, 2021 we checked into this hotel for our wedding the following day. We were supposed to earn Hilton rewards points for every dollar of revenue that our weddings brought to the hotel. We were very unsatisfied with how our wedding was done, nothing that was promised was fulfilled. After the wedding I emailed the event planner (***********************) multiple times about how I was unhappy and she never once responded. I called the *** **** multiple times and have not heard from him either. We paid an extra $1500 for open bar an extra 2 hours and they closed the bar an hour early. We still have not seen any of our Hilton rewards points. I've emailed and called MANY times at this point. I've even called the ***** who said they could not help me because they could not get ahold of the hotel to find out of prices that we paid.

            My sister had her wedding here about 8 months ago. They were great up until the day of. The wedding coordinator did not even bother to come and help 'coordinate'. The wedding itself went pretty well, no thanks to Doubletree. The reception however was terrible. They cut off their open bar 2 hours before they were supposed to (with no refund) due to a complaint from a staff member. The complaint was in regards to the ** playing the song "Broccoli". They are were offended by the song and **** near completely shut down the reception with no warning. The ** apologized as he did not mean to offend anyone. They were not told that the songs had to be censored. It was not meant to be offensive, just a popular song at that time. They are refusing to give her $10,000 worth of hilton points, which was in their contract. The reception was very kept together and not crazy at all. They are a terrible company to host a wedding. Would NOT recommend them at all to anyone ever. This was a wedding I not only attended, but helped planned, set up, take down, etc. I saw everything they did and said. They were TERRIBLE.
