I had an $8000 new roof done About 10 years ago and I started having leaking problems three years ago I contacted them numerous times and finally they came out after two years and said it was a chimney issue, since then Ive had three other reputable people come out and tell me they did not put ice in shield on my roof and now I have to pay $6000 to have a new roof put back on, I am a Covid nurse and I dont have any money and I am ****** offBusiness response

I am writing in response to the complaint filed by ************************
In response to the letter we have tried to get ahold of ******************* several times. 8-18-22 left a message to meet with her to check out her roof problem. 8-20-22 left another message that I would like to come out to evaluate the roof leak. 8-20-22 did receive a call back the stated that they no longer wanted our service and to not call back again. We did save the recording for your records if needed. We did install a roof for her about 14 yrs ago according to our records. I remember going out to her home about 3 years ago and climbed into her attic and noted that she did have water coming thru the brickwork on the chimney. I went up on the roof and caulked some of the bricks and the mortar cap with silicone. At that time I told her that she needed a brick ***** to do some needed work to her chimney, and what I did was a temporary repair and would not last. I wanted to go back out there this week to #1verify that there was ice and water shield installed at the *****, take pictures and also repair any area of roof that could cause a issue. #2 take pictures of ******* to explain again how water could be coming in from missing mortar and masonry cap that was a issue long ago. I havent gotten any calls for a repair from her since the last time I was there so I dont understand why she would go to the BBB before calling us out. Still would like to help.

My chimney is fine Ive had three other contractors look at it ! I paid $8000 for a new roof and it is leaking in three places as of three years ago ! I do not want them coming back out to look at it as they didnt know what they were doing in the first place and it took them many calls for them to even come out once ! No ice and water shield was ever put on my roof and that is the cause of the leaking ! A partial refund wouldve been lovely
