I took my car for an estimate to repair after I had an accident resulting in damage to my 2016 rogue. I had full coverage insurance through the general. I spoke with the owner shortly after the accident and was going to have him do the repairs. ***************** the owner of said body shop later received a check from my insurance company which he cashed and never even let me know he had received. **** or any of his employees never did one minute of work on my vehicle and I ended up totaling my rogue on April 29 car issued me 300 on the 29 and later issued me another thousand. He received ******* for the cost of repairs and gave me **** he said he owes me money but refuses to pay me the other 755 dollars which was deducted from the total value of my car once it was totaled leaving me a balance owed on my loan. **** refuses to answer any more of my messages after he told me he would do the math and send me what I was owed in august. He then decided he wasnt giving me anything nor was he going to respond to myself or my insurance company. I feel as if others need to be warned about the shady interacting I have had to deal with coming from the owner and business. People need to be warned that he will take their money and never do the repairs or issue them the money he receives from the insurance check! Please help me get this resolved in a timely manner I feel as if I have waited far to long already. Also warn others of the possibility of being ripped off by a company that is small and literally started in our home town!Business response

*************************** brought her car to my body shop for an estimate for repairs like she stated above. Her ****** was approved for the repairs and her insurance company did issue payment. I ordered the parts for the repair to be done and then had her on the repair schedule several times. She would call and book a time slot then cancel or no-show her appointment. She was made aware that the return policy on the parts that were purchased for her repair were on a 30 day time limit. After the window of return had expired she had another accident in her ******.I did refund her money, all but the price of the parts. Due to the return policy we were outside of our time frame to receive a refund. I was completely transparent with her about the return policy. Had she not edited the text messages she attached with her complaint you would have seen this conversation in its original form.

He absolutely did not give me any date or time to come in for the repairs and in the respoythrough text messages you can clearly see where he states he knows he owes me something but unsure of what it is and he would get back to me. I was never even made aware that he received the check from the insurance company until my second wreck when I called and told him there was no need to schedule a time for repairs considering my car was totaled! I never edited these messages they are screenshots directly from our conversation. I asked what parts was ordered he never even took my car in to look at it to know exactly what he needed to order I asked for a receipt to the parts ordered and he refused to give me that! Never did he tell me about a 30 day return policy considering I had never even been made aware that he received a check! I literally pulled into his shop cause a friend recommended him and he came outside glanced at the car told me he works with the insurance companies and have my insurance company contact him so thats what I did I never had another conversation with **** until I totaled my car in April and than he made me aware of the fact he received my checkCustomer response

I purchased a car paid in full $4100 and within the 1st 2 weeks started having some major issues with the car. I contacted the car lot where I purchased it at by phone multiple times and got no where once I took the car back to the car lot to try and get something done about the problems with the car I was told to get my price of junk off their car lot since then my car has caught fire as a result of these problems with the fuel injectors leakingBusiness response
