I was told by my vehicles dealer that my truck needed a new transmission and they quoted me $6000. I took my truck to Alltran and they quoted me a third of the price for the same repairs. After Alltran looked at my truck, they discovered it was the starter that was making noise hitting the flex plate. I can't recommend these guys more. I appreciate their honesty and outstanding customer **********************.Review from Kim H

My son has taken 2 vehicles there and both are having to be worked on AGAIN...my son is being referred to as the "diabetic cripple in a wheelchair" by All **** employee...Wow what a stand up co,pan6

I do not recall calling anyone a cripple. Your son is very diabetic. Your son uses a wheel chair. I was trying to put a face to the name and asked if he was the diabetic guy with the handicapped leg. The facility working on the trucks told ** our transmissions hadn't held up. Since both vehicles were used transmissions supplied by your son, there was no warranty of any kind and your son was made aware. Your son called about the suburban saying it was running hot. ************** told him it may be slipping which would indicate the used trans was bad. "Bring it by, we will be glad to check it," We never saw the vehicle again As regards the Dodge, it had been out 2 months with no concerns expressed. However, I explained to the facility, if he expected ** to pay/repair anything we would need to verify the issue and have the truck here. He said he would call the customer. We are still willing to do so.Review from Elijah T

Recently took my vehicle to this shop and the owner and one of his mechanics told me the issue was not an ignition coil. They informed me that the torque converter needed replaced. They replaced the converter and charged $1500. The same issue continued after the work was completed. Took the vehicle back to the shop and the head mechanic informed me that the issue was most likely the coil (as I was initially told was not the problem). I replaced the coil and the problem was fixed. I informed the owner of the initial inaccurate diagnosis and that the part they stated did not need replaced, actually did need replaced. The coil was $50 and took 5 minutes to replace. The owner stated that he would no refund any of my payment or compensate me in any form. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe this business. I would not recommend anyone to take their vehicle to this shop.All-Tran Transmission Service, Inc. Response

The refund wasn't enough? Please recall that we offered to get to the bottom of your complaint & get it corrected at no cost to you. You said no. When you came to pick up the vehicle, I offered an apology and started to explain what we wanted to do. You took your keys and went out the door, while I was still talking. You called later & said a new coil fixed the issue. As I tried to talk or ask something, you talked over the top of me. While we didn't get a chance to verify the issue for ourselves, it seemed only fair to give you the benefit of the doubt and give you a total refund of the labor. Significant since it was $951.00 of the $1406 repair. We text this to you as you didn't seem to want to hear our offer. We apologized in the text. We apologize here. While we strive to give excellent service, it's hard to avoid an error or two when people are involved.
