September 23, 2022 *********************** with Lighting Nation 365 came to my home to meet me and talk about a potential job on my home. I ended up really liking his ideas and paid him on Sept 23, a check for $750 to do a design for landscaping and Hardscapes around my house. September 28th he came by and showed me the designs. I wanted to hire him. He gave me preliminary numbers and said I needed to pay $5k to hold a spot for the spring. Sept 30th I paid him 5k on a credit card for a deposit to do landscaping for the front of my home. **** told me that he would send a receipt and a contract with the breakdown of cost. He did neither. October 4 I decided I wanted to go ahead and do the back as well. **** said I would need to put another 10k down to do the back. October 7th I met **** to pick out pavers at a local shop and gave him a 10k check. I still had not received receipt or contract. February 23rd I asked **** for a start date. He said he would let me know. March 27th and March 29th I asked for a start date. He said the plan was to start in two weeks after Spring break. April 18th asked for a start date. Phone conversation happens and he said may 3rd and they no show me. May 10th I am frustrated and want to cancel the job but dont have a contract at this point. He says they are starting May 16th and that he ordered locates. I called 811dig on May 15th where they inform me that **** never called to order locates for my job. May 16th I demand a contract and designs I paid for. May 17th and 18th I got a contract and designs. After lies and no responses I lost all trust in Lighting Nation. I cancelled my job on May 20th. The contract states that he would have my full refund back to me in 5 business days. *** tried multiple times to get my money and in multiple ways. *** continued to be lied to and ignored. He has taken $15,750.00 from me. And I have gotten none of it back.
