Terrible experience working with LE Isley and Sons to install a water heater at a rental home I own. After scheduling in advance, on the day of the appointment they said they couldnt the work and left because there was no where to drain the existing water heater although there was a sump pit 3 feet away from the water heater location. No call to notify me that the work wasnt going to be completed. They just left. Pretty unprofessional. I called their office to discuss the level of service with the owner. Left a voice mail. Never received a call back from ownership The next day they sent someone out without authorization. They called the tenant directly who left work for a second day and she assumed I arranged the install and let them in. No call for a conversation on pricing or what work was to be done. Magically, they were able to do the install and drain the water heater on the second go around. Later in the day I get a $1700 invoice for work that I did not authorize. I am guessing this will end very badly and do not intend to pay for service that was not discussed with me in advance especially considering an extremely high price!Business response

The homeowner and I corresponded via email to come to a resolution. The invoice was adjusted since we had not followed out the process of getting customer approval before starting the work. While the customer is still not happy about the experience, the cost of the work should not be a concern.Customer response
