On April 12, 2024 I reached out to AJ Outdoor Materials for dirt. I spoke to ***** explaining to her what I would be using to dirt for, to build up around to foundation of the house to help stop leakage into the basement. She suggested fill dirt NOT topsoil. We spoke briefly about me having had 7 surgeries in the past 3 years and that the money I was using was being donated because of me being disabled. When the dirt arrived it was NOT at all what was expected. It was large heavy ******** boulders instead of dirt. I wasnt told it was wet until after her daughter ***** was unloading the second pile and it was stuck in the truck. During the delivery property was damaged, that could have been prevented had I known the dirt on truck was wet. The wet dirt caused the truck to be heavier causing deep tracks in my lawn that will now have to be filled. Had I known those tracks would be made, I would have had the dirt dropped somewhere else, because there were options. I was informed of the issue after it was done. I was inside at the completion of the drop off and noticed the condition of the dirt. I IMMEDIATELY contacted April and expressed my concerns. She said for me to let it dry out, and after days, nothing. I was told that her husband had to come by and see the dirt, even though I sent pictures and videos. I called and texted to try to resolve this situation in a timely manner. Im not asking for much, but for what we agreed and that is for them to bring me the topsoil and take the fill dirt with them. I even asked about paying the difference in dirt price (not dirt removal), which I shouldnt have to do since I will be using some of the dirt to now repair areas their company damaged and I will probably have to by grass seed as well for it. I just want the right dirt. I have ************ recordings to back me up. The professionalism and customer service went out the door as soon as they got their money. I see why they love to deal with cash only
