Everything exceeded our service expectations-- from the scheduling of the appraisal all the way through the final invoice. The painting crew was prompt, efficient, polite, attentive to detail, responsive to questions, and overall took great pride in their work. There were no surprises with the billing and no bumps in the scheduling. This definitely wasn't our normal experience with working with service providers! It was so much better!Review from Joe C

Certapro (Ken M**********) was very responsive to needs and timeline requests. Had to cancel signed paint project last year and Certapro graciously allowed it without any hassle. When I was ready to resume painting again I did not hesitate to call them again and they completed project earlier than expected and at a very good price. CertaPro is the company you want to paint your home. Extremely professional. Communication was prompt and thorough. They made sure to update us as they progressed through the project while we were away. They asked questions and listened as we explained. Trust them with your home ….. you will be so glad you did ! Our entire process from bidding to paint completion was excellent with Certa-Pro. Our jobs included painting the exterior of our home, and a re-staining of our wood deck with major color change. Every day at the end of their work, all equipment was gathered and stowed appropriately by the crew. The paint crew was outstanding regarding courtesy and attention to detail. At the end of the job, a thorough review was conducted of any paint drips etc. and what few found were cleaned up very well. We plan to do interior painting in the not too distant future, We will definitely contact Certa-Pro for a proposal and bid!! As I read the older reviews of Certa-Pro on this website, I concluded they must have been under a previous set of managers/owners. That is not the company that we dealt with. I hired Certa Pro in July 2021 to paint several rooms in my home. They did a wonderful job in four days as quoted. They were very neat and cleaned up their work areas daily. I’m a fussy person and had no complaints during or after the job. The price was fair and workmanship flawless. I would recommend them anyone and would not hesitate to hire them again! The paint crew left trash in my yard every evening. They emptied paint in my yard. They left nails and screws all around the house. I still find them when walking around. They broke my shutters and swore to replace them but didn't. I wasn't going to pay until I had the shutters fixed but I was promised that they would take care of the breakage. The gentleman in charge said he needed to pay his crew and so I foolishly tried to help him out. The paint job itself was good.Review from Sara J.

Beware, Wichita East Certa-Pro are not the elite painters its parent co.'s promotional ads claim. I had carefully pointed out every crack, nailhole, tear in the drywall, uneven and buckled surface, and gap with the salesman in 3 rooms of my home.
Based on this, I signed a contract for the job to be professionally painted over a 2-3 day period based on the crew size. When the 3-person crew showed up, I again went over the job in detail. They then informed me that they had to get paint. All three of them left for the paint store. Not even one stayed to prepare/prime the walls or remove switchplates.
Two and a half hours later, only one of them returned. He had a new person with him who said he was "the boss." The two then laid their tools, materials and paint down and disappeared to their truck for close to 45 minutes.
Once back in the house, they "worked" 3 1/2 hours and the boss declared they were "done." He meant done with the job --- and he asked me to inspect it!
The two had painted over every area that was damaged or needed to be filled in/mudded or repaired, smoothed, sanded, or taken care of. When asked why the walls had not been prepared properly, "the boss" said it was "not in his notes." In no way was this anything even close to what I had contracted for.
This franchise, East Wichita CP, ended up scheduling an independent contractor to fix all the damage their painters had done and provide a professional paint job from outside their own co.
East Wichita Certa-Pro has been paid in full, but has yet to apologize. Their salesperson was less than civil when confronted. Sad.

CertaPro provided Ms. ***** with an estimate on April 26, 2022 to paint a Kitchen, Utility Room and a small area in a downstairs Bathroom. She wanted the work done ASAP as she was planning on selling the property soon. She signed the proposal the next day on April 27.
Work on the project began May 16, 2022. Upon the crew's arrival Ms. ***** addressed the crew in an unprofessional manner by yelling at them. While this was going on one of the crew members called the office and Ms. ***** could be heard yelling in the background by our Office Manager and the Sales Representative that had done the estimate.
Ms. ***** expected the crew to match the paint color from a picture. This is not possible and was explained to Ms. *****.
The crew took a sample of drywall with the color to be matched to the paint store so that a custom manual match could be done. All of the crew members left because they did not feel comfortable staying to start on the prep work.
Ms. ***** called the office to complain to the Office Manager about why the painters did not show up with the correct color paint. Her demeanor was less than professional or civil. The Office Manager explained the process to do a custom manual color match.
The crew leader discussed the situation with the Sales Representative. They had a plan on how to proceed. However, two of the crew members refused to return to the job as a result of how they were treated when they arrived.
When the crew returned they once again were greeted with unprofessional behavior from Ms. *****. Unfortunately the crew started rushing just to get the job done as quickly as they could to minimize the amount of time they had to endure the situation. As a result there were items that were not completed to our standards.
Ms. ***** called the Sales Representative working with her about concerns with the work. The Sales Representative made arrangements to meet with Ms. ***** to review the work. Indeed there were issues that needed to be corrected. Ms. ***** behavior again was less than civil. The Sales Representative agreed to have another crew return to correct the work with a condition that Ms. ***** not harass the crew or that they would be instructed to leave.
Another crew was sent and the work was completed on May, 30, 2022. Ms. ***** signed off on the work and paid her bill in full on June 1, 2022.
CertaPro did what we could to provide professional service and work for Ms. *****. Unfortunately due to the working environment the crew rushed through the job just to get done as quickly as possible. As result we addressed and corrected the issues with the work that were identified.

Job was suppose to be done in 2 days max, it took 30 days! Brad, the painter I was assigned left my cabinet doors on the floor, did not put light switch plates back on, did not replace the vent fan cover or my blinds. The floor was not covered when painting and I had to clean paint spots off my newly tiled floor. Brad refused to come back to do the touch ups because he lived 45 minutes away. The additional charge for my garage was never discussed with me, I was only told "it would need to be primed first" without mentioning the extra charge. I am highly disappointed with the service I received.
