I made an appointment to have my puppy neutered , with the veterinarian that gave him shots. So the morning came to bring him in for surgery, and it was a different vet. I ask to meet her before I tur Ed my pup over to them. So they said yes she would met me before hand. I go in and the only other person there was sitting alone crocheting,I said hi to her and she looked at me then went back to her needle work without saying a word. So I went up to the desk and ask the girl if I was going to meet the vet that was to work on my puppy, she pointed to the rude lady sitting and crocheting that just snubbed me. After being pointed at I said "oh hi" she then approached me saying nothing. She was very stiff and said nothing except yes I'm who is doing the surgery. Then backed away as if I was bothering her. So I ask her if she had done this type of surgery before, she looked very young to me. She then spoke up like I offended her and said " I've been a vet for 12 years and she turned and told the desk girl " reschedule her" and sit back down and continued her needle work. So I told the desk " yes that sounds like a good idea. But I never went back. She was a very scary vet. She didn't even look or act friendly to my puppy, and that alone was a red flag.

I was just discriminated against at El Paso animal hospital. I took my mastifff for her rabies Vax and signed up on the Qless waitlist at 1:00pm sharp. I was told I had two other people infront of me and it would be a 10minute wait. My dog gets anxious so we always muzzle her for the safety of other pets and staff. After waiting for 30 minutes and listening to my girl cry for 30 minutes in the car, I walk to the front desk and Sherry tells me it will be a little longer but two people are ahead of me (mind you there is a medical line and a vaccine only line). I noticed immediately from the body language and tone of Sherry that she seemed highly frustrated about something and as I was walking out and looked back and she was whispering to the other staff (Katie) at the front desk. I could not figure out why the wait was being prolonged, so I tested out my wise mind (first thought theory) and re-entered the Qless waitlist from my sons phone number and a different name as waiting in the car. Low and behold, he was called up as bring your pet in we are ready. When I walked in with My dog and Sherry and Katie at the front desk realized they had been outsmarted, they said it was a mistake and they didn't try to call up that number, however, other pet owners that weren't of my race were coming up saying "I was just called", and being sent back. I asked for the manager and explained to her what was going on. Sherry immediately jumped in the conversation becoming combative and I wasnt even talking to her. I felt threatened and as though the narrative of the story was about to change so I quickly got my phone out to start recording the event taking place in real time. I was then immediately sent back to get my dogs rabbies shot and the manager, (Casey) apologized profusely for the incident and then said the girl at the front desk was new, I then asked were all three women up there new? And since there is a vaccine line and also a medical line with only two people Infront of me,
