I rented a car dolly and took my car to Corky's on June 25th to have it repaired after contacting him and having him tell me that he would work it in. Since then it has sat with NOTHING done on it. Every time we have called he says that he's "going to be pulling it into the shop today." This is now OVER 2 months time. In the meantime, we're still making a car payment and paying insurance on a vehicle that we can't drive. If he doesn't pull it in this week we will be renting a dolly again to move it to another mechanic. If he couldn't "work it in" then he shouldn't have said so.Customer response

We also had to buy a new battery because the car sat for so long. That's another $260 that we had to spend unncessarily.Business response

To whom it may concern:
This is in response to complaint ID# ********. Customer ****** ******** called me in June and explained the issue she was having with her vehicle. I explained to the customer I didn’t have any appointments until mid to late August. I had lost my one and only employee so I was currently a one man operation.
The customer indicated the car didn’t run, I told her she was more than welcome to bring it to the shop and leave it. I explained if I got a chance I would try to get it in sooner but I was already behind since I didn’t have any help.
The customer would call and I explained I hadn’t gotten it in but I had to take care of my customer’s who had scheduled appointments and had been waiting.
I did contact the customer and told her to come pick up the vehicle if she needed to have it completed sooner.
