In June of 2023 I contracted with **** at Superior Home Improvements LLC for the installation of a Provia sliding patio door. I paid $1836.50 deposit. It is now October 27, 2023. 1. Sept 14 Superior unsatisfactorily installed a door with obvious mfg defects and left without being able to lock door. 2. ****, Superior Owner, came and looked at the door. He immediately stated he could do nothing about the defect in the door. He attempted to get the door to lock but was unable to fix it. He said he would have to send out another tech. 3. Superior tech arrived. He was able to get the door to lock but said the door was improperly installed and not setting level in frame and needed to be removed and installed properly. He took pictures and measurements and said he would send to ****. 4. **** was unsatisfied with report and sent another tech to re-examine the installation. 5. October 26, 2023 Another Superior tech shows up. He looked at the door and tried adjusting it. His conclusion was the same as previous tech. Door needs to be reinstalled. 6. Superior still refuses to do anything about the defective door. I am being charged $5,512.00 for this shoddy installation of a defective patio door. On top of which I just received an invoice from Supetior for immediate payment of the balance of 3,676.50 or court action. It is unreasonable that this company expects full payment for an unsatisfactory and incomplete job. It is also unacceptable that they use defective material and won't stand behind their work. As we are both over 75 it appears this company is taking advantage of Sr citizens.Customer response

**** from Superior Home Improvements has been in touch and I believe a mutual agreement has been reached.
