They did not pick up trash for 3 weeks before going out of business end of Oct. 2022 & stated they would refund . They also cashed check 1st part of Oct. for 3 months of service & stated they would refund. I have not been contacted by anyone from that business or received any refunds.Business response

Trash has not been picked up in weeks. Before this trash service was being performed every other week but payment in full for weekly pickups is being collected. Business performs NO communication with customers as to delays or interruptions in service. Not just our trash, everyone in my neighborhood with Best Value has not been picked up last week and so far this week. PICK UP OUR TRASH!! INCLUDING TRASH THAT IS ALL AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD NOW BECAUSE ANIMALS HAVE GOTTEN INTO IT SINCE ITS BEEN SITTING SO LONG!! Business should have to do a neighborhood clean up due to this!!!!!!!Business response

As of Oct 1, *********** (a different company) is servicing the account ONLY because we discontinued service with best value and started an account with the other company due to best values lack of communication for MONTHS and inconsistent work ability. THIS IS IN NO WAY A SOLUTION PRESENTED BY OR PAID FOR BY THE OFFENDING BUSINESS but a last resort by the customers being victims of the poor service of best value. NOT ALL MISSED PICK UPS WERE PROPERLY CREDITED. Our trash was not picked up AT ALL in September but I was still made to pay for September and 1 October pick up because we had not made a complaint to the office even though we could never get thru to talk to a representative of best value. I had to pay approx $** for 1 pick up in total in Sept and October but to be rid of this company it was a small price to pay.Initial Complaint

9/1/2022 I cancelled service and requested the dumpster be pick up and my refund. Today is 10/1/2022 neither has come to pass.i went to ************* Friday to fine it's a mail drop,was given address for ********* location that has same phone number.Business response

It's been at least 3 weeks since my trash has been collected, and this is not the first time. I have been calling to cancel my service, but no one answered. I have also seen that if you are successful in getting through and canceling they never come pick up their cart so they can continue to bill you.Business response

My neighbors and I have not gotten our trashes emptied in over three weeks because of this issue. Every time we call, they hang up on us if we ever get through to an actual representative. We all have just paid our bills for this service last month & are all up to date (if not, now cancelled). There has been zero communication from Best Value Services to any of their customers about any issues being actually resolved.Business response

best value has not picked up my trash 3 weeks in the last month. made multiple calls each week trying to get thru but left on recording to hold on for 6 to 10 minutes each time only to be told at end to try later.Business response

I paid Best Value Trash service for a full year in April. In the last 7 weeks they have only picked my trash up twice. They said they gave me credits for the weeks that were missed. This is week 3 of no trash service. I can't put everything out by the bin because stray cats, dogs or raccoons will get into them and string trash all over the neighborhood. It's already happened. **************************************** I've tried calling several times a day to cancel my service and have them refund the remaining months I have left. I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone for weeks! You are on hold for 5 minutes then it disconnects you and says to try again later. I'm not sure if you can help but wanted you to be aware if this *** business.Business response

Best Value Trash Services has not picked up our trash in 4 weeks! They rarely come on time anyways so after the 1st week didn't think much about it, but when the 2nd week hit I called and was told they would be out the following Monday. No one has shown and I cannot get through to anyone for answers. ********* is littered with Best Value Trash carts and the trash animals are getting into because trash is overflowing. We just paid our 3 months in full right before this. I want a refund and to cancel service. How can anyone do business like this? I'm also reaching out to the City and the news.Business response

We just hired Best Value Services 3 weeks ago. Trash has been picked up only one time and missed the last 2 weeks. We have called their number for a week but nobody answers. We wanted to hire a small business for our trash service to help them out but they don't help themselves. We just want our trash to be picked up weekly or a refund if they cannot fulfill their obligations.Business response
