Not just a clown, but the whole dang circus! I spoke with 3 different salesman to ensure it wasn't the fault of one person being new, inexperienced, or playing hardball. Each one lied through their teeth. I have the summary of 4 different experiences detailed below. Let's start from the top. When going to a dealer to pick out a vehicle and scheduling a test drive, a manager would be wise to send the customer with someone who knows the vehicle. Not even close. Test drove with a salesman who knew nothing about the car. Every question was returned with "I don't exactly know, i'll have to ask my manager" What are you doing working here then dude? Nextly, Salesman vehemently deny that the window sticker is the very best price on any vehicle and cannot be changed by the dealership. I called the manufacturer in front of them and they said on speakerphone "Dealers absolutely modify the MSRP to bake in profit. This is common. It's called front-end profiteering. Finally, I spoke with them about a trade in. Another mistake and I was really hoping to give them some credit in one section or another. After calling all around Kansas, Valor's offer came in dead last at the lowest by several thousand dollars. Their reason for this was likely high military traffic and/or uninformed customers. There is no form of business I can recommend doing with Valor and if you value your time, money, or self-respect you will avoid them too. Tldr; Go anywhere else, ideally away from Junction City and Manhattan, KSReview from Alexa M

Valor Ford Service Dept. The power steering went out in my Ford Focus - (normally I use a local mechanic in Herington but this electronic steering system needed fixed at a dealership). My mechanic ballpark guessed $2000 to fix but I was expecting more since it's a dealership I dropped my car off, they looked at it, and called back with a quote for $4600 to fix!!!! I did some more research and everything I found online was about $2-3k to fix this issue on my same year of Focus. I took it to another Ford dealer- Glaven Ford in Clay Center (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM) and they called me with a quote of $2800 (and yes it was for the same repair and parts). After it was finished it ended up being a few hundred less than that original quote as well. Absolutely shocked at the price difference for the same part and repairs. YES- I understand different shops charge different amounts for labor, but 40% more??? That's crazy and predatory in my opinion. Active duty Soldiers / spouses please check out the Fort Riley reviews & recommendations Facebook page, many other people have had issues with Valors service AND they have an F rating at the Better Business Bureau. I should have know military towns price gouge but I really didn't want to drive further to another shop. Would have saved me a $115 diagnostic fee if I did! Glaven in Clay Center is only 35 miles away which is definitely worth 40% less. Prey on military and families much?Review from Nathaniel H

Horrible where do I start ? I was so excited to get a new car. I went to the dealership where a person that I know works there. He sold the car to me wholesale did not explain to me one bit what wholesale was or even offer me a warranty or Carfax. I was approved to get the vehicle a 2015 Chevy Tahoe. I even traded in my truck and put cash down. Drove off the lot 8 days later I am stuck with a bill over $10,000 because I need a whole new engine in the vehicle. Now the dealership will not even respond to my phone calls or anything. There has to be something fishy about this deal. 8 days later and the car does not work with over $10,000 in repairs. Is that why they knew they had to sell me the car wholesale and not even offer a warranty? I feel like I have been robbed by somebody who recently just got out of the county jail. Now I'm stuck catching rides with friends because I traded in my other working vehicle to get this 2015 Chevy Tahoe for it just to be stuck towed at my house due to lack of knowledge maintenance/ salesman at Valor Automotive. They need to make it right and just fix the engine so that way I can be back on the road again.Review from Tyler E

If I could rate this a 0 I would!!! I asked the dealership to send me pictures of a truck and they did. I asked very specifically 2 things: 1. has it been smoked in? and 2. are there any major scratches / dents? I TRUSTED this dealership (god was I an *****). I sent in all my credit app and had them get me approved trusting they were telling me the truth. Upon arrival to the dealership the truck had over $2,000 in damage to the tailgate / side panel above the tail light. I immediately left ticked off. Seth called me and said they'd fix all the damage. I agreed I would take a look at the estimate to see if I wanted to continue. I felt like it was being fixed appropriately so I asked them to bring the truck to me so I could drive it and see the rest of the truck since I didn't even look after seeing all the damage the first time. Once I got into the truck immediately can smell it's been SMOKED in which I asked very specifically from the start!! Not only that, it has HAIL EVERYWHERE. The hood is pelted, the roof is pelted and has some down the side of the truck as well. I called Seth back and he said he had no clue the truck had hail or damage. WHO FREAKING SENDS CUSTOMERS IN VEHICLES THEY HAVENT LOOKED AT?! I got in the truck and told him I'd come back and switch out my vehicle and that I was done looking at the truck. Upon arriving at the dealership I noticed my vehicle was nowhere to be found. The ***** salesman was GETTING SUPPER IN MY VEHICLE!!!! USING MY OWN GAS. Wasting MY time. This was the worst experience and worst dealership I have EVER worked with. I worked 10 years in a dealership and this would have NEVER EVER happened within a company who actually CARES about the customer. STAY ******** AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!Review from Ta M

Long story short. A friend/co-worker took his vehicle into the service dept for a diagnostic test. They told him he was going to need a very expensive repair in a couple months tops. So to make sure he Had a way home I stayed and waited for him to decide what to do. He decided to get a different car so I still stayed to make sure he was going to have a way home. I ended up getting swept up into the mess and rushed into buying a car. We were told the cars still had repairs and detailing that needed to be done and we could pick them up that Saturday at the latest. They did get his done but it's an entire week later and mine might be done by the end of this week. @urprise the general Mgr just called and said my car should be done by the end of the day. And as a thank you for my patience and for it taking so long he's having the sales lady top off the gas tank. They should go further and reduce the sale price a couple hundred as well. That's not gonna happen. Anyone looking to buy or just ideas of vehicles you many to purchase or use of service debts I would not recommend Valor Automotive on golden eat in junction city, ks.
