On 11/25/2020 I purchased a vehicle and service warranty from Prestige Nissan Legends. The warranty that was sold to me by the dealership was a third party warranty for $2,099. The service agreement number is **********. Prestige Nissan Legends became ***** ****** ******* sometime in 2021. When I sold that vehicle in July 2022, I contacted both the ASC Warranty and ***** ****** to cancel the warranty and get the prorated refund that was due. ASC canceled the warranty, but said that ***** ****** was responsible for paying the approximately $1500 refund due. I contacted ***** several times and when finally speaking to the finance manager, was told it was not their responsibility. They claim that they are not liable, even though they purchased Prestige Nissan. I called the warranty company back and they assured me that it was not their responsibility, but the either the dealerships or the bank that financed the loan. The bank said it was the dealership's duty to pay the refund. I even called Nissan consumer services to help me work with the dealership, but they were unsuccessful. ***** ****** has been completely unwilling to help me resolve this issue, and I've been going in circles trying to iron things out between the warranty company and the dealership. The amount may seem trivial, but $1500 is a lot of money. Please help me in getting this issue resolved.

I purchased a vehicle from Prestige Nissan of Legends on 11/25/2020. They sold me an extended 6 yr/100,000 mi warranty for $2099. I recently sold the vehicle that I purchased and reached out to the warranty company, *** ********, about refunding the unused warranty. I was told that *** is only responsible for the administrative fee and Prestige Nissan of Legends is responsible for refunding the unused warranty amount. I contacted Nissan of Legends, but it is no longer owned by Prestige and is now called ***** Nissan. ***** told me that they didn't inherit any of their records etc. so they weren't able to assist with the issue. I have not been able to able to reach anyone affiliated with Prestige Nissan of Legends since it is no longer in business, so I am having trouble receiving the money that is owed to my for the unused warranty, which should be approximately $1507 according to the *** ******** representative.

With my new truck purchase, I was sold a “mandatory” $1000 package that included some assorted optional equipment, but also included 3 years of oil changes and loaner cars while in service. Today I got an email that let me know the dealership had changed names from “Prestige Nissan” to “Dreams Nissan”. I called to see if I would still be getting my oil changes. I was told no with along with an apology. The accessories I was sold were maybe worth $400. The remainder of the $1000 is now worthless. I believe the company still operates either as Prestige Nissan of Lee’s Summit or Nissan of Kansas City. I am awaiting a callback from a representative of theirs with whom I left a voice message.
