      i had carpet installed the first of July 2021. I was supposed to get 36 months zero percent financing, the lady in finance said she entered the wrong code for me to get that from synchrony and carpet corner was going to get it fixed. Today 07/30/2021 was the third time I called carpet corner to get this issue resolved, in the mean time I was paying synchrony what I owed them for 36 month financing. However synchrony has not fixed the problem and carpet corner acts like they are not interested in fixing the problem. Synchrony calls, texts or emails me everyday wanting to know why I am late with my payment, they show I only have 18 month financing. My credit score is way above 800 and I am afraid this is going to destroy it. I would like refund for late fees I am now being charged by Synchrony. .

      We received notice of customer complaint, ID ********* The customer was wanting 36 months Finance and was inadvertently given 18 months financing through Synchrony Financial. We contacted Synchrony Financing upon learning of the situation. On 6/21/21, Synchrony Financial customers service was notified and they put in a request to adjust the financing terms from 18 months to 36 months. We were told to have the customer make the 36 month finance payment and that it would reflect on their statement in one to two billing cycles. The customer was notified of the time frame of one to two billing cycles to reflect correction and the correct payment amount given to us by the customer service agent. The customer proceeded to make the appropriate payments.

      We received notice of the complaint from the customer and proceeded to contact Synchrony Finance again on 8/5/21. Customer service did see The request made on 6/21/21 and put in an additional request to change the financing terms. Synchrony reiterated that it would be reflected in one to two billing cycles.

      Synchrony Finance was once again contacted on 8/13/21 to verify that requests had been made.
      They said it was in the system, made an additional request for finance term change and put a notation on customer account so they would riot be contacted again.

      I am rejecting this response because: This problem was admittedly created by Carpet Corner. They owe me $100 for the late fees I had to pay to close this account

      In response to customer complaint ********** Synchrony Financial was contacted again on 8/20/21 in regards to adjusting financing terms from 18 months to 36 months.
      Once again Synchrony Financial affirmed that the adjustment was in the system and would be applied in one to two filling cycles. Since the customer closed their account before that time frame expired Synchrony Financial could not share anymore information regarding this customer with us.
      We were told that the customer would need to contact Synchrony Financial customer service at ************** to discuss the refund of the $ 100.00 for late fees to close their account.

      Carpet Corner made all necessary calls and requests to Synchrony Financial to have the financial terms corrected and informed the customer the amount of time it would take for the process to be completed. Customer closed the account before waiting the amount of time necessary. Synchrony Financial said they would be happy to discuss the refund with the customer but could no longer discuss the account regarding the customer with Carpet Corner since the account was closed.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
      Waste of time to go any further, Carpet Corner is not going to take any responsibility for their mistake. I would down grade their BBB rating.
