If it were possible to give less than a star, I would surely do it. TruHome has been nothing but problems for my family since the servicing of our loan was sold to them in 10/2021. Not only have they forgotten to pay my taxes on one occasion, but they cannot perform the simple task of keeping track of my escrow. As I sit here today, I've had to come up with a $4300 escrow shortfall. The reason for this is still unclear. If they had been doing a regular escrow analysis as is the custom with a mortgage company, they surely would have reached out to me to let me know. They waited until I was $4200 in the hole, AND I CALLED THEM. My bank warned me when they took over our loan that they were absent minded at best, and grossly incompetent at worst. I have lost sleep over this. I have lost my savings over this. Their incompetence cannot be allowed to stand. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION AGAINST THIS INCOMPETENCE.Review from Marion H

The day before closing(18 hours) before closing they informed us THEY didn't complete a document correctly thus our closing date would be postponed. Utilities transferred to ***************** in place, lawn tractor set to be delivered and now we are delayed in closing because of their negligenceReview from Kyle H

Closing costs went up by $4000 from the original estimate. Amazingly it was a few hundred dollars out of my range the day after they received my account balances and immediately call to talk about how they can 'help' me by charging me additional fees to meet their demands. I only escaped those by borrowing from family and the lady was genuinely disappointed over the phone that I found the money. They also charge me $200 a month for 'mortgage insurance' which is just free money they take that doesn't go towards what I owe them because I was $2000 short of a 20% down payment. I'm long past the 20% but they still charge me. Turns out they lowered the value of my house in their system by $100,000 ignoring the two appraisals done on my house. Hidden fees and outright lies about costs to con you out of whatever they can before you refinance.

that place make me cry after 90 days my refinance loan not aprove because of hoa do not have 10% in reservethey not good at all.
