I am a postal employee with a clothing allowance for uniforms. I misunderstood US Uniforms 20% Discount when spending my full allowance. My allowance is $214 a year and I placed an order for $267 on Aug 26, 2021, assuming I had an extra $42.80 to spend. I provided my personal credit card for the extra $9.95 which US Uniform charged on Sep 28, 2021. When all back ordered items had shipped, US Uniform charged my personal credit card $43.98. On Dec 4, 2021, I contacted US Uniforms about the unrecognizable charge. After discussions back and forth, on Dec 13, 2021 ,the company explained that the 20% discount was built into the price I paid, so I was responsible for $53.93, but I could return items for a refund. On Jan 10, 2022, I returned $56 worth of items. The merchandise return form clearly stated the credit card information that was to be refunded and I also included copies of my credit card statement that showed the 2 charges I was requesting a refund for. On Feb 2, 2022, I inquired as to when I could expect a refund and on Feb 4, 2022, I was told my Postal Clothing Uniform Allowance card had been refunded. I explained they were to refund my personal card, not my postal card. On Feb 21, 2022, ******** ****** Accounts Receivable for US Uniforms stated that I must contact ********, the postal card company because they are declining the amount. I contacted ********, and they told me I need to contact my HR Accounting help desk. I contacted HR, they contacted ********, and I was told all should be in order on Feb 28, 2022. I notified ******** ****** on Feb 28, 2022, that all should be in order - no reply, no refund. I followed up on Mar 7, 2022 with ******** ****** - no reply, no refund. I called US Uniforms today, Mar 10, 2022 at 1:23 pm. I was on hold so I left my # for a call back when my place came up in their queue - no call back. I checked the balance on my personal card today, no refund. I checked the balance on my Postal card, $56 credit.
