Snakes in the grass! The only way I could see it working for someone to work with these clowns is to be in such "dire straits"that you have to sale your house for whatever you can get out of it! The fellows that I'm working with are players!, and liars, I'll be lucky to get out of this one tomorrow! Don't trust what they say and they like to keep dragging out the time beyond 6 weeks to try and get you to break I believe! Steer clear

I went to National Home Buyers Alliance (NHBA) for help purchasing a home and this company quickly pre-approved me, just like they do everyone. That should have been a red light. I paid this company over $2000.00 to help me purchase a home. Two days before closing on the house, I received a phone call from the lender stating that I was not going to be able to close on the house. The lender reason, I do not make enough money to afford the house that I am trying to purchase. After reaching out to NHBA, they stated that there was nothing they could do about it. I was told by the now so-called president of the company, to take a year off from the program and get my finances together. Two months after being turned down by NHBA lender, I was approved by another non NHBA lender and bought a house $20,000 dollars more than the amount NHBA pre-approved me for with the same income and bad credit. I have been asking NHBA to refund me back my money to no avail. It is unfortunate that this company is still ripping people off today, taking advantage of people in this economic hardship. It is very surprising that there has not been a class action law suit against this company, for deceiving people and taking people money. I recently contacted the so-called customer service manager for the company about two weeks ago. After calling and leaving her numerous voice mails, she called me back and laughed at me over the phone when I was talking to her about my account. I have also sent her emails and no reply. I am leaving this review to warn everyone about this company. If you do not want to lose your hard-earned money, please stay away from this company. RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! I cannot stress it enough. This company prides themselves in having A+ Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating but this company is not even BBB accredited. I am asking NHBA to refund me back the money that I paid for their services because they did not accomplish anything for me.

I talked to someone named ***** who identified himself from this company in *****, ******* on FridayMay 19th at that time he promised to follow up with ** either way by the following Monday. ***** did not call back. I texted him 2x, tried calling 1x and followed with an e-mail. It is Wednesday now and still no follow up. Run fast and far. I believe once I mentioned legal fees etc, he knew I was an informed consumer.

for the life of me, I can not understand why is this place still in business. I was so so close to going to do business with them after all the advertising on the radio. then OMG I read the reviews its crazy!!! and oh BTW people please spell check and review your writing. some people already think we are illiterate this is why they take advantage!!!

I had a wonderful experience with NHBA.I where hesitant about the program, because of there fee that you have to pay.Since I know time was of the essence for my family and I,I decided to give them a shot,and I'm glad I did.So they partner me with a Realty ************************************ was professional,responsive and attentive to me day and night,She made me feel comfortable on every level on looking and purchasing my new home.We where able to close on my new house less then six month after getting started with the program.Thanks National home buyer Alliance

This company ripped me off over $3,000 for closing aw she kept saying is your credit score your credit score once I got that back up and it went down two points and still there's nothing I can say I can't say nothing good about this company it is the worst it is a scam I see no results nobody's happy everything that I read is very true stay woke d about this company non-refundable your money just go out the window I hope they get everything they deserve they are the worst ever to shatter people's dreams and Hope but they won't share their minds

Due to my income I paid close to $10,000 with the promise of help with down payment and closing cost - because of my credit. When the time arrived for that help to materialize I was told that if they help me or anyone with any of those things they would be out of business. Beware, Beware, Beware!!I had to go about it all on my own, money out of pocket and all for everything, just avoiding them having their name on anything relative to my property.Beware, Beware, Beware!!

Do not use this company!!!!! They are scammers, they present a dream of home ownership and really can not provide this dream to the demographic that they advertise to.My husband and I went to them in hopes of owning our own home some day with their help. They charged us 4700.00$ to part take in their program. the plan was to help repair our credit so that we could purchase. They did not help with credit repair, we did it ALL on our own. They lied and said that the monies we paid would help with closing....it did not. In fact by the time we were ready to purchase we did not qualify for any help that they said we would. We did not get to pick our lending company or realtor.Moving fast forward we pick our house and when it came time for closing, there were so many lies about monies that were promised. We rescheduled our closing 3 times because of this. In the end we changed lenders and NHBA never upheld their end. They cheated us out of 4700$ and ******* on our dream. But it all worked out. I ended up purchasing the home I wanted.All I have to say is please do not do business with them. They prey on the black communities that already struggle. Sell them a dream, and take their money which most are just trying to create a better life for their families. You will end up empty handed and ready to burn the business down. ******************* who is the owner of this fraud of a company is a piece of s*** and does not care about his clients, because he has no intentions on helping these black folks obtain home ownership. Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

NHBA Didn't help me with anything but they took $682 from me I cancelled my application before my 10 days was up and was never sent a refund and the reason why I cancelled was because I lost my job so I didn't have the money to continue to pay which would have been 204 dollars a month. I called the company and spoke with ************* which then hung up the phone in my face so I wouldn't suggest anybody go to this company because they don't handle business correctly.
