      The company has been Increasing its prices rapidly over the past few years. I have been a long term customer having spent thousands with them over the years. Recently they performed a toilet repair that took 30 minutes for which they charged $400. That comes to an $800 per hour charge. A complaint to the company was initially met with an effective dismissal. Escalation met with no satisfaction and in effect disrespected a long term customer. I can no longer recommend using this company as they appear to have chosen greed over good business practices.

      $718 plus tax for a Wax Ring and to reset toliet. Strongly recommend NOT using Anthony Plumbing. Keep in mind, that is the regular Monday thru Friday business hour rate, not an after hours emergency or weekend rate. Had a toliet that was leaking from the base. Put out a request on Yelp. Two general handyman came back almost immediately. But wanted to go with a licensed plumber. Anthony's came back, no quote provided, saying to call. That should have been the first warning. Ended up making an appointment. $120 for them to show up(this is added to the price, not included if you use their services) . After I had to call when they no showed, due to a office error. Should have been second warning. Needed to get this resolved, so went ahead and had the come out. Once on site, quoted $718 plus tax. This included a $10 part and less than an hour of work. Now I should have said No, but wanted to get this resolved. So reluctantly went ahead with the repair. Plumber (Tristan) was nice, knowledgeable but said he had no control over prices, though agreed the $718 plus tax was very high. The work was performed without issue, so I don't fault Tristan. But this price is simply too high for a $10 part to be replaced. Bottom line. I will never do business with Anthony's Plumbing again, the only exception is if there is an issue that falls under warranty. I would recommend others to look for another plumber than Anthony's. I am extremely dissatisfied with the price and response from Anthony's. They will also try to sell you on their ASAP service, pitching that you'll save 10%, and you'll get a quicker response time.s If you do the math, you'll that it is a Rip Off, just like $718 to replace a $10 wax ring. Anthony's had a chance to remedy this before I posted the review and chose to stand by their pricing for less than an hour of work.

      I bought a new ac and furnace from anthony kansas city 4 years ago. I have had constant issues with the furnace, with nothing but excuses from anthony. First was constant short cycling. Anthony continued to blame the multiple brands and styles of filter i was using. Then they said it was a dirty part. Then they adjusted a heating level on something to lower than it should be, but then i had to raise the thermostat higher to get any heat at all. Now they blame the ductwork. Ive just placed yet another maintenance call with them as it was 20 degrees outside last night and i couldn't get the temp in the house higher than 70 first floor, 67 2nd floor. Approx 6:15a i think it started short cycling yet again as the temp downstairs reached 68 with the thermostat set to 72. Had issues with the ac unit too. Called them repeatedly the ac was not cooling the house. Each time they had to replace coolant and they finally admitted there was a leak and replaced the pump or something.

      We have attempted to contact this customer to discuss the heating situation. The system is under parts & labor warranty, however, water panels are not covered under the P&L warranty. Awaiting customer to return our call to resolve this matter.

      Quoted me nearly $800 to replace a "dual run assist" component on my heat pump. They made it sound like the unit was about to fail and this highly-technical part needed replacing. I ignorantly agreed. The technician spent maybe 10 minutes outside and ended up replacing what was essentially a capacitor the size of a soda can. Basically swapped out a battery, of which afterward I looked up the price of the component and it was maybe $50. So 45 minutes worth of travel and labor, and a $50 component, yet they charged me $800. They also never returned my calls after I called to cancel my membership with them - I had to call 3 times to get it canceled. These guys just prey on homeowner ignorance and inflate their prices based on the neighborhoods they know they're working in. They did fix the issue with the heat pump, but their price for the job was absolute highway robbery in hindsight. Beware any quote they give you - in all likelihood the job should probably only cost about half that.

      On Sept. 5, 2023 the air conditioning on my house was not working. Anthony sent a HAVC technician. He was very helpful and checked everything necessary. He had the problem solved and fixed in about an hour. My concern is the price of the part he replaced. It was a condenser that runs the fan on the condenser unit. He informed me of the price $429,00. Wanting to get the unit running I agreed for him to replace it. System works great now. My concern is the price. I searched online for the part and the most I could find it costs is $60.00. This seems to be a very excessive mark up.

      Don't do business with this company. I pay a monthly fee to have my air conditioning and furnace checked annually at the same time. In early October 2022, spent thousands for new units. Didn't contact me until June to schedule the air checkup in October and said it would be 6 months after for my furnace. Finally got them scheduled for September 1 and told them to figure something out for my air. Didn't show. Claims they didn't have it on schedule but I have text and an email conforming. Employee blamed me for not returning contact in March then blamed me for not contacting them. Blamed me for not attempting to schedule 6 months apart. Not getting a call back from a higher up on customer ********************** from ***************. Was told within ***** hours. Had holiday weekend so gave him Tuesday and still no response. Tried Wednesday morning and not available. the representative had to send an email to see if he was available to talk to me. They would have him call back and I stayed on line only to be told not available. (surprise). Still not getting my annual checkups that I paid for. Not giving me a refund. Evidently, after spending thousands they just don't care. Also, spent thousand for plumbing and pipes in yard. Really poor customer **********************.

      -Warning- One June 27, 2023, this company caused significant damage to our home by improperly replacing a condensation line. On the evening of July 1, 2023, they sent a tech to identify and stop the leak. He apologized profusely and stated that he had notified "people above his pay grade" to dispatch a team to dry the area and assess the damage. On the evening of July 3, 2023, Anthony PHCE (per ***************), brought in a company (Power Dry) to dry the area (we discovered later that the drying process used was not the industry standard). Anthony PHCE hired another company (******* Restoration) to obtain estimates to repair the damage and test for mold. Once Anthony PHCE received the mold report, *************** held onto the results for 5 days before providing to us (he first reported the results to us, via telephone, stating that the counts were "off the charts"). He then emailed us the full report that showed toxic levels in the room that flooded and in an adjoining room (per ***************** with *******, only 3 areas were tested per the direction of *************** at Anthony PHCE). *************** (Anthony) and ***************** (*******) also told my husband and I, on several occasions, that we were safe staying in our home...contrary to what was stated in the air quality/ mold report. *************** also shared with us that they received had received an estimate from ******* for $10,000+ to repair/remediate. It was at this point that all forward momentum by Anthony PHCE to repair/remediate stopped and they began shirking responsibility for the damages. To this date (7 weeks+), nothing has been done to repair the area or remediate. Their CEO/owner has yet to return our calls. We are currently living in a hotel with our dogs in hopes of lessening the current effects of exposure and hopeful that we won't have any long term effects. It has become overwhelmingly clear to us that this company has NO concern for the safety and well-being of their customers, their homes, or their pets.

      We have never been ones to welcome repairmen into our residence, but ***** changed that. We had a plumbing issue with some floor drains in our basement and needed them fixed before we left for vacation. Not only was Anthony Plumbing able to unclog them, but our serviceman was also not going to leave until he made sure they were ready to go. The serviceman's name was *****, and he was a true pleasure to work with. He was courteous and professional throughout. We will continue to utilize Anthony Plumbing for the simple fact that their serviceman proved there are still great people in this world that can be trusted welcoming them into your home.       YOU SIMPLY DONT CARE to resolve the issues, YOU HAVE no communication with your techs to see the NOTES they put in for my LAST Appointment.STOP cancelling my appointments for services that I scheduled with your company, I scheduled the appointment due to the RECOMMENDATION from YOUR TECHNICIAN that was previous here to service my unit, I have a part that has been sitting in my basement for over 4 months waiting to be installed by Anthonys. if you want a better understanding of whats going on MAYBE you should talk to the technician that was LAst here because, Im simply doing what the technician told me to do. The technician TOLD ME TO CONTACT ANTHONYS NOT no got **** ******* !!!!!!!I wasted an ENTIRE day sitting at home on 5/12/2023 ONLY to have ANTHONY call late in the evening cancelling my APPOINTMENT ?I am so ****** with Anthony ********************************************** I paid for a brand-new ************* I did not get the deal of the buy 1 and get the other one free as thy have advertised on TV I m paying for both.
