I stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel July 8-10th, 2022. Upon arriving in room ***, I found dead crickets, large bugs and rolly-polies on the tile inside the room and inside the bathroom. I picked them up in several tissues and brought them on numerous trips to the front desk manager (3pm to 10pm shift). She never apologized, neither was I ever offered another hotel room. When I asked her to inform her manager housekeeping is not doing their job and request a discount on my behalf for the poor hygiene, lack of cleanliness and sanitation (the front desk evening receptionist said she would ask her manager and get back to me). However the next day at 8pm, she still had never gotten back to me with an answer. I therefore asked the lady at the front desk what her manager said, to which she replied "no discount" and was not even apologetic about the matter. Beyond this issue, the hotel has many cigarette butts all around the entrances nobody has bothered to pick up causing a health hazard (impacting air quality) and a fire hazard (given how hot it is in ***************). The only thing management and the receptionist seem concerned with is pinching an extra $** from hotel guests beyond the cost of the hotel, which they are charging people as a "security deposit" upon arrival. God only knows how much interest the hotel owner(s) are making from this $** deposit, which 99% of other hotels only authorize (and $** at most) but do not debit and charge customers' debit/credit cards. Thus there are a few issues occurring at the hotel worthy of further investigation and a possible class action lawsuit, a formal complaint being filed with the health department, fire department and environmental department to ensure public health is safeguarded, guest safety protected, and diseases prevented.
