I contacted ornate would creations and agreed on a price for a vanity which I gave an initial $1,600 deposit on October 27th 2022 which was 80% down payment of the project total cost. I was told by the owner that it would be a two-week turnaround for the one 8-ft vanity that I was having them make. I contacted them again on November 22nd, 2022 and was told that it would be ready after Thanksgiving on the following Monday or Tuesday. I was told that the boxers were ready and the cabinet faces, doors, and drawers just needed to be made. I waited until Tuesday November 29th to see what time was available for me to pick up my vanity and was told it was not complete and that there would be an update that evening. I then contacted the owner Wednesday, November 30th the following morning and said that I did not get an update and want it to know when the cabinet would be available. At that time, the owner stated that he had per our contract 60 days to complete the cabinet. I asked for a photo update of where it was at and was told that when he got into his shop he would send me a picture of it by 11:00 a.m. I waited until 1:30 p.m. and attempted to contact the owner for an update to verify that something was being done on the cabinet. At that time, the owner told me that it'll be ready when they get it ready and he will call me when that is and would not give me any more of a specific date. He also told me to stop contacting him and that he would file a complaint saying that I was harassing him. I asked for a refund at that time, because it was obvious nothing had been done on my cabinet and he said if I wanted any money to in his words, "sue me, my daddy is an attorney". I stayed at that I'm not sure what was going on in his world, but there was no reason to be unprofessional and I just wanted to simply know when it was going to be done. At which his reply was to not contact him anymore.
