I am not liable for this debt with Evergy Central 2ND Westar. I do not have a contract with Credit World Service INC, they did not provide me with the original contract as I requested.Business response

Credit World Services is the collection agency for Evergy, we did not purchase this debt, the agreement is with the original creditor.

I am not liable for debt with Credit World Service. I do not have a contract with the collection agency trying to collect and report to my credit report. They did not provide me with the original contract as requested via certified letters.Business response

We did not purchase the debt, we are the collection agency for the original creditor with whom the consumer has the agreement with.
On 05/16/23, we spoke with the consumer after they received our letter that states who the original creditor is, they claim they were garnished for this bill, this creditor does not litigate so they were going to look at their paperwork and send that in.
On 5/17/23, we receieved a dispute from the credit reporting agency, "consumer states inaccurate information, please provide/confirm complete ID and verify all account information" We verified the name, address, and SSN is the same as what the original creditor sent over and accurate as of date reported. An update has been sent to the credit reporting agency to update the account as "Account information disputed by consumer".
