I saw an advertisement on tv that Miracle Ear was offering a 30 day risk free trial..I called and made an appointment for October 7th with Miracle Ear on Strang Line rd.in Olathe I was evaluated and told that I needed a hearing aid in my right ear. I used my credit card to pay the 2500dollars, planning to the advantage of the 30 day risk free trial. We didn't go over the contract. The only thing I was told was that I could pay half down, the full amount or finance it. I know that that was a big mistake. I am 79 years old and too trusting. The device was delivered on 10-13. I was given a return appointment to be checked on 11-8. I had been having lots of problems with the device popping out of my ear. The was very disturbing as I was so afraid I was going to lose it. Several suggestions were given to me at that time. I had stated that I was having problems and was quite sure about it. I wa given another appointment on 11-11. This time I told them that I no longer wanted the device, I was very bothersome and was making me very nervous. I was told that I would have to try another device before I could return it. In the ad it had said a 30 day free trial I was told that this person would have to check with his super-visor and that he would have her call me. It was stated that I should receive a check in 30 days. Today is the 15th of December, and I still have not received my check. It was stated that there would be $375 withheld when I do get a check. I think there advertising was very misleading. It stated that this was a 30 day RISK FREE TRIAL.Business response

We have received your letter regarding complaint ******** and have verified that the patient has already received her refund and has already cashed that check on 12/22/21.
I have also attached the return document that was filed out detailing the return policy that the customer agreed to. I am hopeful that as the refund was received after this complaint was created that the issue is now resolved.
