Horrible liars who will tell you anything to get the sale and then hide the lies in the contract fine print. Go anywhere else!!! They encourage (including the managers) misconduct and manipulation.

Complete crooks. They don’t honor warranty guarantees and then charge several hundred dollars for the “inspection” that only told you that your vehicle isn’t under warranty. Go to any other Hyundai. Stay away from these criminals.

I attempted to call the service department on four occasions today 15-Sept-2023 and could not get an answer. I then called the main office on four occasions before I was finally able to reach the service department. When I finally reached them, I attempted to schedule an oil change which they said could be done in eight days. This is unconscionable since most dealerships have express oil change lanes. McCarthy's has just lost a customer.

I'd like to congratulate the McCarthy Olathe Hyundai service department on the worst customer experience of my life. Here are the facts, and one opinion:Fact: I had my 2019 Hyundai ****** (approx. 38k miles) towed there in early January with a second flashing check engine light in less than ***** miles.Fact: My ****** is under an extended warranty/engine replacement program for knock sensor/vibration issues.Fact: I was finally told after three weeks that the engine issue was caused by gas with too much ethanol in it, a repair they said that did not fall under the warranty. Opinion: I considered this an outright lie. My reasons:1. I got printed receipts from QuikTrip for my previous 2 fill **** proving I put the correct gas in the car 2. I contacted a local QT rep who confirmed they had no known gas issues at that time 3. I gave this information to McCarthy service management, who agreed to do "more testing" when I refused to pay for the repair 4. After wasting another week or so on "additional testing", management suddenly does a complete 180 and decides to replace the engine under warranty, which is what they should have done in the first place.(I'll also note I was finally provided a loaner vehicle at this point).Fact: I was told the estimated completion date for the replacement would be Feb. 7 Fact: Feb. 7 rolls around, and I finally email for an update. I was told the engine is now back ordered, with no ETA on arrival.Fact: I'm told the engine arrived on March 22 Fact: I pick up the ****** on March 29.Fact: The car has barely enough gas in it to get out of the parking lot. (see photo). Kind of a jerk move leaving me with fumes, but hey, THEY don't put the gas in the car.Fact: Somebody (presumably a member of the service department) left a fun parting gift: some tobacco spit. (see photos) It's the cherry on this t*** sundae.Fact: I email McCarthy Olathe Hyundai management about this, and still haven't heard a response.
