I traded my old travel trailer in at Route 66 RV's on June 30. Here it is, 2 1/2 months later and Route 66 RV's has still not paid off my trade in. I have made 2 payments on my new RV and the old one is now for sale on their lot. The Credit Union where I had it financed,(WeStreet Credit Union), is being great about this matter. I have contacted Route 66 RV's (*****) and he told me each time that it would be taken care of if he had to hand carry a check to the Credit Union. LIES, LIES, MORE LIES. I just talked to ***** and he said to go ahead and file a Civil Lawsuit. SO BE IT! If you are thinking about an RV, DON'T go to Route 66 RV's unless you want to have problems with their management, namely *****. ***** did call me back and was very rude, and cussed me out

We received your complaint which was submitted on September 15th, ID: 20612117 against Route 66 RV's.  The dealership that you referenced, Route 66 RV's in Oklahoma, is not owned OR affiliated with our business, ROUTE 66 RV Network in Kansas in any way, shape or form.  While our name and industry-served are similar, we have no association or authority over the business practices of Route 66 RV's.  We take our BBB rating very seriously.  We believe that it is critical to hold businesses accountable for their actions; and, in turn, make positive changes for customers such as yourself.  If you would, please remove our company from this complaint and proceed with notifying the correct business of your complaint. Thank you for helping us in this matter.

We bought our camper new back in 2019 and bought this "Route 66" extended warranty with it. We have always had our camper on a seasonal park. There is maybe at the most 500 miles on this camper. Well in beginning of October we went on a last camping trip for the season. On our way one of our whole wheels came off, i mean everything the whole assemble. Well we called for road side and they told us they couldn't help us and we would need to get it back home which we were 100 of miles away from. We did finally get it home and brought it back to the dealer. When the dealer looked at it he told us everything would be covered under the warranty. I was told by the dealer that Route 66 says they aren't going to pay for the warranty issues. Why do I have this coverage if now they wont let me us it? I am being told the repairs are about $1900.00 which this company needs to fix under the warranty.

This contract was sold and unit repaired by *** ***** ********* *** ****.

The dealership submitted a claim to the Claims Administrator on 10/11/2021 for the axle, bedroom door, tire and rim and radius metal. An inspector was sent by the Claims Administrator to review the damage. The contract did cover the axle assembly that failed. Total claim amount paid was $939.45 for the axle assembly.

The contract also does not cover freight and the freight was approximately $250 as the axle was shipped.

Since the customer did not select or pay for consequential damage for this contract, the tire, rim, door are all excluded under exclusion 10 in the contract.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Assumed Answered]

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: If the axel did not fail as indicated which you told ***** ******** that is was due to this with a defect and nothing we did then none of the damage would have happened. When we bought the warranty we were told everything was covered but out $100 deductible. There for if you look up anything with a defect you will understand that this is no fault of ours and the fault of the axel which you are saying was the problem. I was also told to submit this to my insurance company which they said they would fight because you guys are stating a defect when unit was sold as this unit had not been use in any wrong manner. There for if this fail never happen this camper would still be in 100% condition.

      Regards,

      ***** ********
