I am not seeking payment however I feel it is needed to notify BBB of the actions taken by Blue Eagle Investigations in regards to a case I worked for them as a subcontractor. **** ********** ***** ** **** ***** Investigations located at **** * ***** *** ***** ******** ***** ** ***** has refused to submit payment to me. His email is ******************************** ******** ******************************** ****** ****** ************* Mobile phone: ************* I would like it noted that not only is he refusing to pay for services rendered he is also refusing to provide any information whatsoever in regards to the case I worked. I spent money on fuel, food, travel, and utilized my time. I have requested copies of the invoices in regards to said case because I believe it was billed out however again he refuses. This is terrible business and no one should treated this way. As far a resolution goes I would like payment for my service but I understand that is not what BBB is for. I just want it professionally noted what this company has been doing to me and my business so that others do not experience the same problem. I have attempted to settle this multiple times myself and have not been able to work anything out.Business response

Mr. ******** conveniently leaves out the facts. Blue Eagle contracted with Mr. ******** to conduct 2 days of surveillance on May 8th and 9th, 2023. Mr. ******** notified me midday on May 8th that there was no activity by the subject. This was the last time I heard from Mr. ******* until May 17th - 9 days later - when he notified me he had been in jail and was unable to contact me. During this span, I had no idea if he had completed May 8th or even worked the 9th (he hadn't) as all of my phone calls, texts and emails to him went unanswered. By the 17th, I had recontacted with a reputable investigator who conducted 2 days of surveillance.
Mr. ******* signed a contract with Blue Eagle specifying his rate and requirements, including:
- "Investigator must provide an update via email once the surveillance day is complete, on the SAME DAY as the surveillance. This email will include hours on-site, a summary of subject activity, amount of video obtained, and any other pertinent information." I did not receive an email.
- "Investigator must provide a complete written chronological report and invoice via email WITHIN 24 HOURS of completing the surveillance." I did not receive any of this.
- "Investigator must upload a complete unedited copy (including date/time stamp) of the surveillance video to a DROPBOX folder (link will be sent to investigator) WITHIN 24 HOURS of completing the surveillance." I did not receive any of this.
