***** **** *** *********** ***** provided us with a quote and contract at certain materials pricing and quantity. The Company gave us the option of paying the third-party vendor invoices directly, which we did. Upon presentation of the final bill, ***** provided the remaining amount due to the third-party vendor. They also provided us with a final invoice due to RLL, which contained additional quantities and pricing of materials that differed from the initial quote. Although we paid for the majority of the materials directly, RLL billed us the same quantity of goods at a higher price in order to profit from the job. It wasn't until we asked for the invoices from the third-party that we determined the same materials were billed to us multiple times. When confronted, RLL confirmed the over, and possible fraudulent, billing. We agreed to an amount owed back to us of $3,000, in the form of a cash payment of $1,500 and future services of $1,500. The negotiated amount due back to us was less than the original amount due, which was significantly more. I gave the Company 90 days to pay the money back and, while partial payment has been made, we have still not received full payment of the amount due. We have attempted several times to contact RLL in order to schedule services for the remaining $1,500. They will no longer return our calls, emails, or texts. In addition to the billing, the Company improperly installed our sprinkler systems, which was ruined when we tilled our yard this fall. A significant portion of the yard needs to be uprooted so that the sprinkler system can be properly reinstalled. Additionally, the sprinkler system does not currently work as the Company failed to properly fix the main control valve. Finally, a portion of the paver floor and the lighting on the overall landscaping project was improperly installed, which has not been fixed. These fixes should be excluded from the services negotiated and payment due from overbilling.Initial Complaint

***** Lawn did landscape work for next door neighbor. In the process they were into our yard and driveway without any permission. Never asked and never notified us this would be happening. We waited until the wall had been completed as our neighbor told us that *****’s would be fixing what they had torn up in our yard. Once wall was complete, we contacted **** ***** who came to meet us and told us he didn’t understand why his workers were in our yard. He shook hands and said they would replace sod. We waited several weeks and contacted again. **** stated they would be out the weekend of 9/30 to replace sod or he would contact me. We do not have sod and no contact from **** *****. I have let them know via phone message on 10/1 that I would be contacting BBB. This project per our neighbor was supposed to last 2 weeks. This was started in July. Project not completed as of yet and our yard is still torn up along with driveway crumbling due to *****’s heavy equipment being in driveway during project. Asking for assistance to get this issue resolved.Business response

***** Lawn is taking immediate action to this matter. We apologize for any inconveniences this has caused. New sod is set to be installed tomorrow 10/4. The project involving the neighbor is confidential but we are working closely with the client now that we have steady communication again to hopefully get the project completed.Customer response
