I signed up and paid the fee to take an examination called RICA (Reading Instruction Competence Assessment). Because of COVID the exam was cancelled. During the COVID crisis I tried to contact Pearson unsuccessfully via phone and email. Recently, I decided to try again to contact them through their website to get reimbursed for the exam I never took. There is no contact information on the Customer Service but they provide a chat for customer service. The employee told me that he couldn't do anything and gave me the following number to call: *** ********. The number has a recording and there is no way to speak to a representative or resolve the issue.Initial Complaint

On Sep 24th, I had scheduled an exam, but 2 days prior to the exam , I tried rescheduling exam to October 2nd to be better prepared. However, support in Pearson put in Customer notes that Customer did not attend exam and tried to lie that she rescheduled. I remember getting up before 2 days to rescedule to october 2nd, the reschedule did not process and I never received email. I am also not getting customer support email from Pearson they are going to spam. Additionally I had inconvience the last exam taken, I checked in exam earlu, but proctor was 1 hour late, as a result , I had to finsih exam to eat dinner and be on time. Mr. *** ************ was scheduled for ***** exam at the Pearson Vue test center. The following is the exam information: Exam: ******* * ***** Certified Network Associate - English (ENU) Candidate: Mr *** ************ Candidate ID: ?************? Registration ID: ********* Exam Date: ?Wednesday, February 16, 2022? Time: ?11:00 AM Armenia Time? (Time shown is test center local time.)? Test Center Location (Directions shown below) ******* ******** * ******* ****** **** ********** ****** **** ******* ******* When he showed up for the test he was refused admission although he provided two form of ID's as was required by *****. The ID requirement was to provide a photo ID with signature and another government issued ID with name and address. He provided his passport and a police issued certificate from Armenian police that confirms his residential address in Armenia. However, the test center did not accept that and requested another ID such as credit card. He was trying to explain to the technician at the test center that the document he presented is the official document issued by Armenian government but unfortunately the technician did not accept it and refused admitting him to the test. We tried to reach out to Pearson Vue to give him a chance to take the test with providing a voucher or refund so he could reschedule and retake the exam but they are not helping and they stated he needs to pay the whole test fee of $300 again.Initial Complaint

I attempted to take an online exam through this company. From the beginning I was treated rudely. After completing the first exam I got up to go to the bathroom. I had not started taking the second exam. Then, when I was nearly done with my second test I was disconnected by the proctor. I was not informed ahead of time that I could not take a break. I was simply disconnected.
