      2/15 purchase a new car from Metcalf Auto. Had three tragic deaths happened and had to travel to bury my mother in law. Fast forward I was late on a payment but still managed to make the payment to bring the account current. I have been making all my other payments prior on time.Because everything is delayed two weeks behind because I’m playing catch up. I called to make my past due payment today they told me they can’t take that payment at all they can process the past due and current due I explained that I only had enough on my card to bring it current today and awaiting for the rest of my funds to be released to pay the other payment. They still won’t take my payment. Bad business and definitely not for the people at all. I can see if I was months behind but I’m not I’m still making the payments. What company won’t take a payment

      After reviewing *** *********** complaint about her past due status, I submit the following:  Accountable Finance Inc. is the finance company who holds the loan *** ********* is making payments to.  While we understand that circumstances occur that require assistance, *** ********* (as any other customer) is required to 'request' an arrangement for payment and potentially provide documentation as to the reason for the request.  If that arrangement for payment is granted AFI requires that arrangement be met according to the agreement made.  At the time of this response 5/17/24, *** ********* has met the arrangements set forth with another arrangement of $420 due today.  This will bring the account current and she may resume her regular contractual payments.  We are NOT required to accept any payment less than the full amount due.  *** ********* may contact me directly @ *** *** **** to discuss her grievance.

      I am rejecting this response because: I never gave a specific amount on what was being paid today as the text message that was sent to me asking about the payment. I been calling your company all morning with no response from an account manager at all since it seems only one person who can handle this account

      On 2/8/23 My wife and I went to Metcalf Auto to look at cars she was able to obtain a car. All was good for 48 hours then the problems started. The car starting popping when making turns, being loud and started leaking. On Monday I went back up to Metcalf and spoke to ***** her salesman he sent me down the street to the auto shop to get a scan they stated the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. ***** made her an appointment on February 20th with the service department at Metcalf were all they did was state nothing was wrong it only needed to be reset. All the problems still exist, and the car is very loud when you accelerate and is leaking constantly. Nothing seems to have gotten addressed we would like the problems fixed right not patched up.

      Was told the title for my vehicle could not just be mailed out without requiring a signature upon delivery however was not notified that the dealership had gone through and mailed the title anyway and ended up going to my prior address which I no longer would be able to obtain the title in the mail. I purchased my vehicle just before April of 2022 and here it is almost a full year later with no title still to register my vehicle while also incurring ticket fines for failing to register said vehicle since I have no choice but to park on public city roads! Additionally I had paid a service fee to obtain a replacement title and NEVER received one! So they just pocketed my money!

      *** ****** was informed his title was ready for pick up in person at the dealership location until 5/7/2022 after which time the title would be certified mailed to the address provided at the time of sale. A Kansas dealership is required to deliver title within 60 days of purchase and are unable to maintain possession of the title after the 60 days have expired. On 5/9/2022 the title to the vehicle was certified mailed to the address *** ****** provided at time of sale on 3/17/2022. There is no record of address change until 7/11/2022. USPS tracking number ********************** confirmed delivery of title by individual at 12:34 May 12, 2022. Metcalf Auto Plaza was not informed *** ****** did not receive his title until September 2022, at which time the proceedings for procuring a duplicate title began. *** ****** was unable to provide valid information to proceed with the duplicate title process until 2/3/2023 at which time the process was able to be completed and title received in person and signed for by *** ****** on  2/28/2023. According to our records this issue has been resolved and no further action is required.

      For the pass year I have been struggling trying to get back on track with my car payment but between the death of my mother and having covid it's been difficult but my issue is with an employee at this business name ***** when this man interacts with me about my account he has become very unprofessional if my account is late and I say I can't pay it till whatever date he will start getting personal saying things like you just don't wanna pay your bill that's what it is , when I told him i had been taking care of my mother and wasn't able to work as much and then she pass and I've been paying for funeral expenses he said well my parents pass to but I still took care of my financial obligations, I just want another case manager I'm tired of this man he is so miserable from working that job that he just treats people terribly
